As a returning player i both love and hate the new update. so many of my once insanely good weapons are not poopie Goodbye to the usefulness of my 9 legendary and 14 mixed legendary items ;A; Still relearning everything just glad the battles are still pretty fun so it makes rebuying battle sets worth the investment.
Also fun question how many battle pets is everyone working on. be it casual or aiming for tops.

3 for me, though one is the main focus while the other 2 are just there to get stats. Not too worried about them right now.

You Won! You have defeated Crithbolcan Cynde earned 3500 EXP Points!
3/31 days completed.
It certainly is, though I hurt my head trying to code again, been a loooong time 😂
The ones I've noticed so far are the auto weapon select, new layout, and the exp page Am I missing some others though? :o
tbh the legendaries were never very good. The combo legendaries used to be the best for their tier but so many weapons have come out since then that they have pretty much become collection items. They are still the strongest for their tier but I prefer to wear mine once I no longer have pets at T7 xD
I am working on 7 total battle pets although I technically have 8. I am looking to rehome one. I am only regularly battling with my two strongest though.
Yay you are here!
I have all 15 of my pets in training but I plan to stop most of them at 1k per stat so they can hold their own in most battles. tho I was debating having 1 pet per tier (minus tier 13 where I'd have multiple) so I could have fun seeing how far each tier can go against each opponent.
Least when they first came out YEARS AND YEARS ago they were useful and with their blocks had nitch uses. granted nowhere near Ether tier. just bummed i spent so much on them back then when 30 mill was a HUGE chunk of sp.

Yeah it was a big expense back then and still a big expense now with how badly sP deflates in value. It's hard to find buyers because there are much cheaper options that will go a long way. It doesn't hurt that you already have them to use though and it is really nice that they have 4 mod slots. I did use mine when my pet was at T7 but at least they also make some cool wearables. Having pets at different tiers isn't a bad idea. It makes it easier to test weapons that scale with stats/tier. It also helps when there are site events where the prizes are different depending on the tier of your pet.
did napkin math and realized 20k stats is still like, idk, four months away? so in a fit of pique i traded down almost all my tokens and bought a whole bunch of defense potions and.
You've earned the Strong Defender achievement! (3.5k) You've earned the Conquerer of the Forjlings achievement! (widow's first win vs momma forj!)
yay
Ooooh yay c: Congrats very much! All stat gains are awesome, pushes you closer and closer to bigger goals! Keep it up!!
And yay on your win against Mama Fork!
One pet does BQs till I'm satisfied with her build. One goes into training. The others get training when they need it because of employment. :) Congrats on your stat boosting. LOL. I did that too, downgrade my battle tokens to buy potions.
everyone!

At last lol 😂
I'm only just back but I basically only train Tarrant consistently, the rest only get training when I visit the page to put him back in :P
Broke 1k in each stat today!! 🎉
Congrats on that!!!
You Won! You have defeated Crawbeast Kuuipo earned 3500 EXP Points!
4/31 yay.

I don’t think I could keep up with that many pets. As it is I’m keeping one at tier four for events. The others are just trained for when Chums gets to tier thirteen or eventually caps out so the next one doesn’t need to start from nothing. And to be honest, I really only need one pet.
Congrats on your win! Now go for the scroll e.e;
Time to get back into battling!
Thanks, and congrats yourself! :D (what's the 4/31? :P)
I'm getting there lol, splurged on a few good weapons and scrolls I was missing, and bought my T8 stuff, all ready and waiting :P
Didn't know if you had been on since they changed from the random challenger to the easy -> imp scaled challengers. I think that is probably the single best battling improvement since it encourages newer battlers to do dailies. I wish I would've realized how important dailies were when I was bringing my first battling pet along.
Oh I remember that, haha, I vanished around Feb 2017.. according to the Cash Shop anyway You mean you used to just get random ones?? 😂 😂 Meeting Prodigy as T1 lol XD
Congrats! that's a huge achievement. always feels so nice seeing the stats in the thousands!
to be fair is didn't start as a battle thing. it was that I felt bad having pets with such low stats. Then eventually when most hit 300 - 500 each stat I was like " Well why not I got this far!" XD

Yeah. It was really intimidating for new battlers. You could, in theory, get the big blue ball of frustration for every bq. Lower tiered pets had to keep skipping quests and it was demoralizing. The new system is so much better!
Oh, stats are gratifying for sure, and an old pet with base stats is a little sad to me. I actually only started battling when I found out all the books I had read to Chums were useful. 50ish AP is nice to start with even if all you can afford are budget scrolls.
Prodigy is always demoralizing. It’s time for you to face Prodigy! Skip It’s time for you to face Prodigy! Skip It’s time for you to face Prodigy! Argh!
