Chase has freezing disabled so the Cobalt Eternals, Aftershocks, and Perilous Whirlpools would be your only real options.

Freezing will definitely help with Crawbeast and Prodigy, though. I freeze them into oblivion :P

Yeah I’d say the biggest thing holding you back right now is the weapon and scroll (although I don’t know what scrolls you already have) investment. You can be T13 and still not be able to beat opponents without the right equipment. Yeah, you can get to T13 even faster than a year if you are boosting, but it gets expensive and pointless without having the right weapons.

The trident definitely helped for chase. I think I used OHS to help protect from stealing, then Natasha when I bought that. All were modded with bona crystal/ parched crystals. The parched was for when I was dealing with other challengers so I didn’t have to keep buying and swapping mods. If you have neither OHS or Natasha, you can try PBB modded with 2 bona and 2 parched.

Crawbeast is tough without the water block and his death rolls are obnoxious. Prodigy’s eyeball is a very good option so you could buy it and then sell the one you win, or try sierrac flail. The problem with the flail is it is speed dependent so you need at least 3k speed for it to be somewhat useful. Blasting really helps. I think I may have tried the trident for him but he really doesn’t do wind damage so I think I reverted back to the flail. I had to use the flail before 3k speed so some battles were tougher than others. Once I had the speed though things were a lot more consistent. I know I used PBB with 2 bona and 2 dark defense. I definitely used oc scroll.

It was the most satisfying feeling when I crit hit prodigy for the first time, after all the times he crit hit me 4 times in a row :D

Also, I didn't know OHS's blessing had 100% steal protection. I may have to make that my next purchase :o

The blessing is 100% steal protection and I think activation is around 25%. Only stealing though, not freezing

That's still really good, especially if you stick some BoNA on it :D I've been trying to decide between OHS and Ether as my next purchase since I have trouble blocking earth and physical icons.

Thank you both! I'm saving this for later, for sure. I tried Chase again today, and he absolutely destroyed me. I'm stuck on him for BQs (again), so I can try out some different arrangements.

Good luck! :D I checked and Crimsyn beat him for the first time in BQs at about the stats as Elyviia. I think I used Oracles Short Sword at the time though, because it was available in the Battle Shop and my armory was very lackluster back then, haha.

Earth block definitely >> than physical. There's a couple of opponents where having an ether is nice for but I've found OHS to be way more useful in most situations.

Another thing you can try is boosting your health more so that it is higher than your other stats. That will help you heal for more and last longer.

Yeah AU is definitely the better physical blocker. Once you have natasha, I think the only opponent it is really worth specifically having the ether for is the faceless ones and they are a new opponent.

I'm partial to the godlies/demigodlies that block dual icons :P I think they are more useful, so I find the extra dark/light block on AU more appealing than the straight physical block on Ether.

I'm also glad that changed the battle UI so the items generated from Ether and Natasha don't really show up unless you scroll. Those were so annoying in long battles :P

- I know! Bobbleheads are due to be rereleased in the CS too, but I was feeling it was an essential weapon that would help me out a lot. I still have quite a chunk of change, I might buy OHS in the next couple of weeks as well.

They changed it when they reset the challengers. I believe he gives out one now at 25 or 30 wins. I'm not 100% sure.
