Yes you get to unlock mutant scientist once you beat mad scientist 10 times for the first time. It's an achievement prize. Same thing with the forj series and metaslab series

I still have yet to battle with Oranos since the reset. He'll probably get to T11 once I actually start battling with him again and using experience. Right now I am focusing on getting Verdugo to T13
