What are you using for FairyTale's weapons? There are lots of interesting weapons for T4 and most of them are not at all expensive. Depending on who you are fighting, there are all sorts of choices. And if her AP is high enough, some of those scrolls you have can also make a huge difference for a T4 battle pet. :-)

My base T4 set is: Lambent Guardian Crystal, Classic Hero Sword (a Genetech combo), Shrine of Apolonia, STS, Sparkling Quill, Phoenix Quill, Gorgun (from the Battle Shop) and UltimaPlus Tag. Antihero Sword (also a Genetech combo) might be even better than Classic.

I have several things there but most are T5+ weapons.

I've been using Bottled Wind, Thrashing Bulldog, Shinwas Lightblade, Jewel Encrusted Quill, Rainbow Quill, Rainbow Vortex, Rreign Mace of Malice, Shinwas Temple Shard, & SubetaBall, while switching something as needed (like using Tide Water Blaster LOL) plus FairyTale only has 1 AP so no scrolls :P

I really need to investigate a bit into each thing I have in my wardrobe, to see what I can use at Tier 4 :P

- the genetech combo swords are a better option than Shinwas Lightblade or Thrashing Bulldog most of the time. (As long as you use one whose attack isn't blocked by your opponent). Sparkling Quill is a little better than Jewel-Encrusted Quill because it heals for 100 HP, rather than 50. Water Orb is a good alternative (or addition) to Tide Water Blaster when you need to do water damage and block fire. No scrolls is a problem. :-) I can see how that would make things more difficult. I assume you know that Rainbow Vortex is not a full blocker at T4 - it's a full blocker at T5 and only blocks 3-4 of each icon at T4. I suggest you definitely get an UltimaPlus Tag. I often still use it at T10. :-) It's a 25 percent heal with an attack plus moderate chance to freeze and low chance to steal. One of my favorite weapons - and selling for 62K sP. :-) Searching through the Weapons List on Subeta Lodge can help you find good options for any challenger that is giving you trouble. By the way, you can also use a Shinwas Healing Wine as a T2 weapon that blocks 1 of every icon and heals 50-75 hP. It's OPB, but it doesn't go away, so you can take it out of your armory and use it as a stat booster later on. :-) And there are all sorts of interesting shields depending on what you need (such as Forj Tempered Vambraces, Tassets or Pauldron - again genetech combos). Can you tell I just went through all this with 81? She's now T5, but I think I looked at every T3 and T4 weapon listed each time I tried to beat a new challenger. Thanks :D I didn't think it would be so "hard' since I went through them all already with Tziety once, but that was before tiers were a thing :P Then again, it took me around 11 years to get Tziety to Tier 12, so I can't be one to talk LOL

I will dig in one of these days, however I might simply focus on one challenger at the time and get weapons accordingly that I could still use in the future with FT :P

Hope I get thru them today. Gave up before finishing yesterday because I'm so fed up with any lag lately. Not sure why it's bugging me so much now when it's been a problem since before I joined...

Oh my gosh, I thought it was just my computer/internet. The lag has been so bad recently! What is going on? Hopefully they're doing some behind the scenes tweaking to prepare for Pandemic/Survival traffic.

There have been changes along the way. After 10 wins, the default set no longer cut it. lol So here is what I used most recently:

Helm, Soma, RB, USS, Swash, AU, RotL, RV I use AU and hope for the 50% heal by subbing it when the freezing scroll provides protection -- on psych I can sub it for USS, and on shriek for swash.

Scrolls: Lucky, Psychx3, Shriekx8,Stomp, ColdBlast, GaleF, Unstable Fairy, Aftershocks, GotForj

Haven't you noticed it's only a matter of the latest excuse? Sometimes we get a few days of relatively good behavior, but for the most part, we can count on severe lag before, during, and after every event and/or 900+ users online, AND anytime they push new code. Although when new code is pushed there is likely going to be a ton of 504s and white pages in addition to the lag. But the news is always that they are working on it and we will be problem free SOON!

There is no doubt in my mind that the site is much improved since I joined, but lately I just have no patience anymore. I dk why.

Good to know. That bookmark the page for Ice King never works for me. But I am able to use the go back button and sometimes get 5-8 battles before it won't let me battle no more. It's way better than what I used to do, which was wait for him to give me a RE. LOL.

My patience is wearing thin, too. I think it's because we keep being told each new update will make the site run better when it feels like they made the site worse, then we have to wait for it to balance out again. The site is definitely more stable than it used to be, but that was so long ago that we have much higher standards now. I don't know much about coding and I'm sure the site is reaching staff's goals, but on our end it doesn't always feel that way.

- well, even with four well spaced pets, I find that I forget what to use for a tier I haven't battled with recently. And if you did it last before there were tiers that just makes it harder. I'm sure you'll do fine. All your experience really helps in choosing weapons. The good news is that the lower tier weapons are so inexpensive that it's easy to just buy whatever looks good and then change/upgrade a bit if needed. :-)

- ooh okay, okay ... congratulations on 22 wins against Hoarfrost with Killer Threat. Now, can he please go back to distracting Ice King for me? :-)
