- I've actually worked really hard to mask my accent, but it never was that strong compared to other people I know. I've also removed certain words from my vocabulary because people didn't know what I was talking about (think "pop").

Wooooooo, I'm at a bar, listening to an awesome band and my husband is playing (as a guest) with the band so I have nobody so share this with (also, my friends all have kids and they're asleep at home, just like I would normally be). Being middle-aged sucks sometimes. Well, a lot of the time.

...at least I got a giftbox for this.

I always get nervous in competitions when there are so many amazing HAs. I think I'll sit this one out :P I definitely think you're onto a winner with yours though <3

Even if you're not entering, it's great going through that thread and seeing all the different HAs, because the pool of items we can use it so limited and people are incredibly creative with it ^^

It was actually a lot of fun working with such limited items. I made 3 extremely different HAs and it wasn't too hard.

I hope he actually judges this time though. Last time it was a little disappointing. I mean it was nice getting the CSC just for entering, but it felt a little like cheating.

I totally agree - I actually prefer to have some limitations because, with CWs and all, the amount of stuff we can usually pile on the HA is pretty staggering and I sometimes don't even know where to start! The only thing I was struggling with was the loss of my go-to facial features and freckles :D

Yeah, I wanted to "color" the skin on one of my entries with one of the morostide dolls, but realized I couldn't do that. I just ended up changing the color in the base tab, which I figured was fair game.

I've not had much luck with the free shop recently, hoping the next couple of purchases are a bit more exciting!

Hah, same here. Earlier today I got 3 cs wearables in a row, and now I keep getting old Melody items (if the shop has anything in it at all...). I'm hoping I didn't spend all my good luck already!
