Losses were bound to happen sooner or later. You're much too good of a battler to settle for just beating easy challengers. That tie should mean you can get at least one more win. And if you can get to 4, you can always just get lucky and get that 5th win. Good Luck!

thanks! Guess I never considered checking booster prices as I don't use stat boosters at all. It's nice to know your input about it! :D And of course you are in the cool kids table, and I don't know if you remember, but you really helped me a lot when I first 'started' back in April, so thank you for that as well ^_^

Maybe a dumb question, but what's the point of leeching once your pet is capped? Is it so that you can even out your stats and get the final numbers exactly how you want them?

- yes! Go for it, you can do it. And I also hope it doesn't take that many tries. :-)

if you have any freezing pylonics or mercurial throwing vials, this would be the time to use them, since you cannot use scrolls against her. If you have Nacho's Secret Stuff, you could paralyse her for one turn to prevent her from healing/blocking/killing you/etc. Finally, I recommend blasting her Gorgon's Blood since she has the potential to heal back to full health, even if you dip her into the red. You got this!

I find that El being the oldest makes everything easier for my younger ones. A lot of those weapon loot drops are ones El's earned but the youngsters use them instead because El simply has better weapons to use. It's nice not having to buy anything for my smaller guys (I also rarely sell anything out of my armory except dupes), so then I can focus all my major weapon purchases on El.

The good thing about the TC is that you don't have to worry about it becoming less useful til late T10/T11, so you do get a lot of use from it. My problem is remembering to actually click the "Finish Training" button at the end of each session; I wish it would do it automatically instead so I have less pages to click through.

Pretty much the same as you then as far as my own experiences go. I'm trying to implement unique builds earlier on my smaller guys, but also learning an opponent's weapons and nuances through El helps me determine if I can let the others have a whack at'em or to delay them a bit longer.

It allows you to change up your pet's build if you decide it isn't working out, and want to allocate stats around differently, yeah.

REs like the oracle, etc... will add stats that you don't nec. want -- or you might even change your mind as your pet grows about what it is that you want or need in each stat. In my case it is the former that keeps messing with me, but I don't want to change my active pet since sometimes the REs help.

What set are you using for Lady of the Waters?

So do things like REs, the Oracle, and scratchcards still increase you pet's stats even if they are capped?

I guess I never really thought about it before, I figured maybe with using boosters it would make sense to leech sometimes. Since the boosters usually give a varying amount of a stat, you may end up with slightly more than you wanted so leeching could help with that.

I keep trying everything :P PPB + Trident; PPB + Swash; Trident + Pstaff; Natasha + Swash Either of these alongside Helmet, RV, RB, STT, RoTL, PQuill

ETA: How do you even freeze this woman??? Except for my helmet, both the freezing pylonics & mercurial throwing vials won't freeze her at all!

- that makes a lot of sense to me. Even for me, my smaller three usually benefit from whatever I've done with Tos and, of course, have much better battle stuff options than she did. For now I am definitely keeping anything I've managed to get in my armory or scroll library (of course, in my case, that's only a few of the big items so far).

I'm pretty good about checking for event pings, so I usually remember to finish training and start a new session. And having four pets all training helps since I usually don't lose too much time if I happen to miss one of the pings.

I'd love to but i'm almost off for today, it's already 9 pm, so I wouldn't be able to use it much before returning it to you so you can keep using it

Maybe try Natasha along with something else like Comet Flash, Maniacal Essence, or Unstable Sample Syringe? She does a lot of ice and dark, with physical and earth to a lesser extent, too. I don't think Swashbuckle or Trident are really doing much help for you. PPB is okay for the job, but I think that dark and ice is really hurting you the most.

I would also make a Volatile Energized Mecha as soon as possible because it really helps in long battles like this.
