Some people use leeches on a capped pet to fix stats from boosters so that their pet is the build they want. Others will use it to keep a couple of stats away from capped so their pet can keep gaining experience in case there is another raise in the cap limit.
Yeah I am recording all of their battles to compare their stats and see which pet can beat which opponent and when.
Yay, congrats on 5 wins! :D
Thanks for the response ~
I thought last time the cap was raised though, didn't they clear EXP first? At least on some of the higher tier pets, I thought they did. It would be too easy for someone to go straight to the new cap if they stored up millions of EXP over multiple years while waiting for a new raise.
They cleared experience when they did the challenger reset. To my knowledge the didn't clear when they raised the cap but I could be wrong
Huge congrats to everyone on your wins and achievements! Keep it up! :D
You Won! You have defeated Meatslab, the Awakened 10 times! You won a(n) Extremely Hard token to use in the battle shop! Meatslab, the Awakened drops: Magma Mage Amulet Parched Tear Crystal You earned 5812 sP for beating Meatslab, the Awakened! Cynde earned 1800 EXP Points!
8 amulets from 10 battles. Nice!
They gave people a chance to spend EXP before the reset, but they also gave people a chance to buy extra Intel as well for a short time. When they raised the cap EXP hoarded was cleared if you didn't spend it all.
Hugh congrats for reaching T12! And for your persistence and eventually victory over the Lady of the Waters!
Congrats .
Last time, they kind of did both things together, but not exactly at the same time.
I found the news posts from when it happened in 2015: https://subeta.net/news/15632 - Stat Cap info https://subeta.net/news/15671 - Opponent reset announcement 2 weeks later
Makes sense, thank you for the answer. :)
Haha yeah, I just found the news posts from back then. Congrats on your wins against Meatslab, and your amulets!
Thank you all.
Ugh eff you Mage, eff you!
All shards! ;-;
So I guess they technically did it for stat cap raise so it would be pointless to save up experience, unless they do what they did last time and let you spend it on intel. Spending exp for intel sounds like a good investment to me
Yeah, being able to spend extra EXP on intel would be cool. It was pretty expensive, but still not bad if you had a few million or so points saved up.
Congratulations on 10 wins :D
I would totally spend 100k per intel point on Crimsyn right now :P I doubt they'll raise the cap again, though, so her EXP will have to sit there indefinitely.
Maybe something like a 50k cap would be cool eventually. I dunno though, you're right that they probably won't be raising it for a while at least.
That would be amazing! But then they would need to make stronger weapons and CS opponents, and I think a lot of people would feel even more left behind and continue to feel discouraged to even start battling. It's a tough balance :/
Yeah, that's part of why I don't really see it happening right now either. People already complain about opponents being too difficult as it is, sometimes.
Maybe they could make some insane weapon that would work really well against the mega-tier opponents, but not do much when you use it against the weaker ones. That would be funny. :P
In my case, just throwing in my 2 cents here, I tome boost until a stat reaches the end goal that I want then stop. I think it's worth it more to use battle shop tokens to buy the stat boosters to buff strength, defence, etc to end goal totals than use the leeches to remove stats for end goal totals.

You Won! You have defeated Unstable Snow Fairy Cynde earned 3500 EXP Points!
-squeaks- Yaaaaay! [edit]
Boooooooooooo lol Little Red broke my perfect win streak... xD oh well.
Sorry if this has been commented on before, but as I'm going through all the opponents I have some battles that don't seem to give any EXP, Sp, or prize. However, when I play my next battle they seem to have counted as wins. Anyone else notice this?

That happens when you double click on the 'End Battle' button. As far as I know it doesn't affect anything, just be careful if you want the correct page shown at the end of the battle.
Ah! That's possible, as I'm a clicking fiend :)! Thank you!
