- that makes sense. I wound up basically choosing between buying the trident or the knocker and decided that I saw lots more trident use. I might eventually also get a knocker, but there are sooooo many things on my need for battle list and it is not anywhere near the top. :-) Nice to know it reverts to the T1 version when stolen though. I assume that also applies to the trident which is really good information to have.

UGH indeed. There really should be some way to keep that from happening. Maybe instead of just "Do you want to read this to _____?) a tome could be made to ask - are you sure you don't want to USE this tome? - not sure if there is a way to get a somewhat unique message into the current system though.

Yes, sometimes the "better" weapon/blocker turns out to be higher tier which is always a factor in deciding if/when to buy. OHS is (are?) definitely on my need for battle list, since I see it used often. But I don't have any T10s yet, so it can wait, for now. :-)

Good luck with those amulets. If we can figure out that we really do get a better rate of return with more amulets at one time, maybe we can start pooling amulets and then just share the tomes back proportionally somehow. (Cooperation - like troll conquest. :-) )
