Yes for a nice Gelly War but no to a community boss. I hate them and will always loathe them and their unfair system. Either way, I'm going back to school so that would include me skipping everything :c

That being said, I'm slowly boosting my pet with my collection of boosters. I'm getting there.

part of me wants staff to hold the gelly war and the quest-a-thon at the same time, but i'm sure the servers would be less than pleased lmao.

It technically only takes up one weapon slot so I refer to it as one weapon.

Jelly war always has the hydragellos as the community boss so people can have a chance at winning the maniacal core. I heard the battling for him may be a little different though so hopefully it's not the same people every year winning top tier prizes.

Personal guess is they want to get the new UI to some place where people are reasonably happy before the gelatin war, but it is only a guess. :-)

YAY Gelly War. I guess I came back from hiatus at the right time if we're supposed to get a gelly war this month. Also the new battling set up is pretty sweet, and I'm wondering how it's going to affect the boss battles. With battling being so much faster now, the top damage totals are going to be astronomical.

I wasn't gone long enough to forget that, just because a thing usually happens at a certain time, doesn't mean it will always happen at that certain time or at all. The (in)famous Subeta "soon" lol. But I've got my fingers crossed, and if there are murmurs of a gelly war maybe there is some truth to it. I don't think I can win a core but more in circulation mean a better chance that I can buy one.
