- ah, I see. I guess I haven't had a pet with high enough health to use that strategy yet. Mostly the healer is cheaper than the healing potions. Another new trick to remember! Thank you.

You just need to pay attention to the price of healing potions and shinwas blessed water. Right now it cost me 18k+ sP to heal Verdugo at the healer. I can buy a 20HP healing potion for only 3k sP so I buy those instead. Then if I ever lose, I can heal verdugo with the healing potion and then fight an easy challenger to go back to full health instead of spend 18k.

Agree with . If you bump up your speed to 3k, the flail becomes a little more useful and will freeze at a slightly better rate. Natasha + sierrac flail are a really good combo. I would also equip as many freezing scrolls as you can to try and chain freeze him. I would also start bumping up health. I think I was around your stats when I first beat prodigy, but I had health bumped up to maybe 4.5k

Right we are due for the TBT challengers lol... I forgot it was Thursday. Silly me... xD

- right now the is selling for 4,998 sP in user shops and healing Tos at the healer costs me 4,479 sp so I'm right at the crossover point. For all my other pets, healing is still a lot cheaper than using a potion.

UI is a little better with scrolling removed from the battle text. That helped me to beat Dean at Level 25 after several battles.

When Dean first showed up, the scrolls drop down menu showed none and I totally panicked when I couldn't figure out how to select one. I tried resizing my browser several times, and a few other things. I was thinking some small update had broken the scroll selection. Then I found a file I had fortunately saved with Dean's attributes. When I saw that he disables scroll use I just had to laugh at myself. :-)

By the way, recently Jason was mentioned to me in connection with battling. Can anyone tell me who Jason is?

Ok, today I showed Filantous, The Recycle Beast, Rimeflare Hatchling, Slavam, The Beanstalk, The Hustler and Uillif all the corners of the arena (does it even have corners?) with my smaller pets. I guess tomorrow it's time for my main battle pet to step up and gain some extra wins! I'm going to need some encouragement for that! Unlike with the smaller pets that go up in tiers and gain access to new bad-ass weapons to beat opponents they were previously not able to beat; progress seems to be mega slow for my main battle pet. It always seems that to beat opponent x, I need a weapon dropped by opponent y, who can be beaten by using a weapon from opponent z, which requires <insert name of ridiculously expensive weapon like Ancestral Unrest here> to defeat. Well, it's not really true, but it does feel that way :/ Hence I need some moral support from you guys!

Congrats on your win against dean! Yeah he does a little of everything so bringing in weapons with a %heal and block a few different icons should do the trick.

Who are you trying to beat? I may be able to lend you some weapons.

There's a couple which I want to try and get more wins at. I'll need some time to figure out the right icons to block, and then I'll give it a try. Most important would be Meatslab, I'm stuck at 2 wins now, it would be nice to get to 5 for the Cronus Blade. I haven't tried fighting Baenwurth yet, but I should be able to get some wins in I guess. Dungarde has not been very nice to me so I have no wins there yet; and I'm going to try to increase my wins on Cinthilocks, Crithbolcan, the Forj Matriarch, Menecuda, Mutant Scientist, Prakheras (sitting at 4 wins there), Prodigy, Tatuvichwa and The Mage.

Not seeing any new loot in the Item Directory, so maybe some higher tier opponents this time that don't have need of loot change.
