Congrats on your wins! I used the unstable syringe and blessed trident, both of them modded with parched baguettes and bona to protect from stealing. The trident and syringe do a lot of water damage. I also used OC scroll and perilous whirlpool scrolls to block fire and do water damage. Other than that, you can equip dark water potions to do more water damage per turn and use a regenerating pylonic in the beginning of the battle to boost strength and defense by 100. Blasting her magma armors can be a big help. With your pet's stats, you should be able to get to 10 wins :D

Thanks! 4 down, 6 to go! The last fight felt like it would never end. I got her down to less than 1000 hp twice, and she healed almost to full health each time and she stole my syringe, so I had to make do with Swash and PBB. I think one such fight each day is plenty :D

edit: By the way, are any pet species/ colours best for battling? Like, for species specific weapons and stuff?

Welcome to battling ^^ Hope you'll enjoy training and battling your pet. As for your question: There is no advantage to battling with a certain species. Everything is the same for every species or colour. Only your pet's tier will decide which weapons they can use and which they cannot. The tier your pet is at will let them equip and use any weapon up to their respective tier. Tier 13 pets can use any weapon on site :). I hope it helps.

ETA Your pet's AP will allow them to equip scrolls and this does not depend on the tier your pet is at. Pets at tier 1 can equip as many scrolls as pets at Tier 13 can, as long as they can afford the APs that these scrolls require.

One thing forgot to mention that you may already know is how to gain alchemy points (AP for short). AP is gained through raising your pet's intelligence. You can raise intelligence by reading books to your pet, using specific boosters, playing mystic spindles to "buy intelligence", randomly through the job agency, randomly through the coin machine, or randomly through scratch cards. For every 16 points of intelligence you gain, you are able to receive 1 AP. AP can only be received by reading books. For example, you can boost your intel to 16, but you won't gain the AP until you read a book. You can boost your intel to 48 but you won't gain 3 AP until you read a book.
