- yes, I'm hoping to try Morosbane with Tos a couple times before I return it. But it belongs to and since it doesn't have any mods, I could probably borrow it again later too. :-)

I don't think I actually own any of the shrines except Apollonia. It is very cheap, but I found my first one digging in the caves long ago. I had no idea all this time that it did anything other than heal. :-)

I am thinking that 81 should at least get five wins (and hopefully ten) before the next TBT reset, depending on how much time I have to worry about battling during Wayward Squirrel (WS).

For right now, this month's game day at my house was suddenly switched from Sunday to tomorrow, so I'm just working on getting ready for that and it should take up pretty much the whole of tomorrow. Then some household computer maintenance/bills (postponed to enjoy visitors), then new HA and first WS puzzle. I love having visitors but I did put a bunch of things off so we could enjoy ourselves since they both traveled some distance to be here. :-) (Fun, friends and family first - chores second, right? :-) )

Just tried going against vampire dog with my T3 again for win 9. I tried morosbane and lost. I switched back to aftershocks and won easily. I still stand by aftershocks is better for him. Even though the block and heal is smaller, you can still use it more than once.

Aw. I am starting to exercise again. Still not losing as much as I would like but at least not gaining anymore.

- I would never disagree with your battle assessments - but at T2 with less than 100 hp that part about "can still use it more than once" mostly didn't come up! I noticed that I usually lasted through the first round (for some reason he wasn't hitting quite as hard then) so I tried a couple weapons (usually tried to get a lucky freeze) and then used Morosbane to stay alive and finish him off on round two. With Aftershocks, I usually didn't live through round two - although I did manage one tie. That's why I tried using Morosbane to begin with. :-) I'm totally sure that Aftershocks will work better after a bit more training. :-)

- congratulations on 100 AP! Now you could use two Void Scrolls in the same battle, lol! (Don't mind me - been discussing Void Scrolls with various people recently - 50 AP each to equip. :-) )

No not yet. Still 140 in each stat to go. Merely on the road to it. I'm just not as focused as I used to be when it comes to battling.

- nothing wrong with taking things slow and easy. I did that for a long time and Tos still eventually got to T9. And I was hand training with no stat booster or EXP use. Focus is okay - but enjoying yourself is more important.

Yes I like taking things slow now a days, I make sure to get my battle quests done so at least I have the EXP hoarding there for when I need it. Good luck with all your goals!

And, when I think about it, Morosbane is sort of like a super GoTF for a T2 pet (true, no defense, but the large heal plus big attack more than makes up for that).

I'm not worried at all. I just wanted to see whether a new battler could beat last month's TBT challengers when they were soooo easy. And I wound up very pleased with 81's fifteen wins there. Any wins with her versus this month's TBT challengers (including the eleven she already has) are just a bonus! Still - I'm starting to think a little like you - might as well go for it, since I can't win if I don't try. Besides, I'm still learning and experimenting and having fun (see goals above :-) ). And it is very nice of the battle admins to help out my new baby battler by providing her with such attainable goals to give her a good start in the Battle Coliseum. :-) At least for now, I think it's actually more fun when I have to work for the wins. I'll get my wins with Tos, Tharg and Gulp - but they will all be easy. 81 is making it interesting.

Good goals for Subeta. Might as well go for a win. Sometimes it's just sheer luck with some challengers.

By the way, I really like your current HA - you are totally adorable. :-)

gotf is the super scroll for my baby battlers xD All of my battle pets have 15+ AP so I can at least equip them with one good scroll so they all technically can use gotf haha. Morosbane used to be the cheaper alternative of gotf for smaller pets. Since nightlady didn't drop the scroll last year though, the price has greatly increased.

I will be excited once all my battlers can start taking on the big boys. I'm curious to see based on some of their builds, how much they will struggle with certain opponents. I also want to get them there so I can get more loot drops like tomes and weapons.
