Only about 2500 damage this time from Tharg, but still pretty decent. Guess I'll go crank out a few hundred and see where he winds up. :-) (Even 500K wouldn't be such a bad result with him.)

I hope so ! Tos has done so well! Have you attempted the Wizard yet? You need to chain freeze him to death or he'll steal all your gear

- I tried the Wizard with Tos twice. She doesn't have the AP or the scrolls to chain freeze. She has the helmet and then a single Perilous Whirlppol Scroll, RV, the UltimaPlus Tag and the Rapier of Error are her only freezing options. So I don't think chain freezing is going to happen. She didn't have too much stealing done against her because she died too fast!

Oh that's too bad, but hopefully for the next war Tos will be stronger and will have more weapon/scrolls to take into battle :)

- She will definitely be bigger and stronger for the next war. I'm impressed that she was big enough to manage to earn a core this year. I would not have wanted to try if she had needed too many more battles than it took. So that was a good thing because the core may not be as "easy" to earn next time around. And the achievement prizes will almost certainly still b available later on so, all in all not so bad. I would have been excited to win the book and the plushie, but then I would just have put the pretty pixels in my vault anyway. :-)

How many more minis do you need to earn your slayer? It has a ten percent heal against gelatins, plus that nice dark block. If you use it against the Wizards, you might be able to get some more wins.

Okay - so Tharg averaged 2892 damage per battle for ten battles - so about 346 battles. I think I can do that.

- if you mean the Gelatin Wizards, there is an achievement for beating them ten times and it awards the much coveted Gelatin Concoction which you need to create the Maniacal Essence.

- ouch! ... but you can do it! Now you can really close you eyes and just click. :-)

How weird ! :o The only thing I can think of is to either try and beat him one more time to see if it triggers, check P&B forum to see if anyone else is having issues, or file a ticket.

Okay - gave in and used EXP to boost Tharg's speed by 18 to get him to 1300 since he's using the Rapier of Error against Hydragellos. Pretty sure the extra damage from the guaranteed curse, but the higher freeze rate is worth it. :-) I don't usually spend my EXP at these (relatively) low levels, but in this case, I just had to do it. :-)

- you may have already earned the achievement last year or before - if so, you can't earn it again. It's not like loot drops and it doesn't get reset when the new Gelatin War begins. It's once period. Do you already have a Gelatin Concoction?
