Ok, brief break and back to gelly boss battling with pet 8. Starting to fall a bit behind, want some tier 11 battles in as well. need to finish last tier 12s.

Natasha is definitely worth the investment. As soon as I bought it, I was able to beat prodigy 5 times when Verdugo was low T11 and the bullet generation has saved my butt numerous times against chase, cinthilocks, the mage and others.

Anyone pays attention to the Wizard's scrolls? I think he still used his old favourites, which means there is still another challenger in store for us!

Now if they make a Genetech combination between the core and the new challenger's achievement prize (if they make one at all) I will be very sad, because that means I will have to grind next year for another core :( (well I partly lied, I love new weapons but just dislike the grinding :P)

I could be wrong, but I guess it would be an IMP, since we've got an even spread across the levels of difficulty for all the gellies so far. Maybe one that is mid-T12? I just hope I can squeeze a win in :P

I actually have similar guess as you do :) I think many cores are going out this year so perhaps there will be an achievement prize tied to this challenger that will make another genetech combo to kill a few cores off the system.

It'd be quite ironic if ME is needed to get a win against this challenger though, haha :P

Nice! I'm actually doing a bit better with the slayer, but he still keeps stealing my stuff. Maybe I'll get lucky enough for the 3 battles I still need though, more healing helps.

Yeah if it's a mid-T12 scaling to T13 challenger I'm likely to sit on the side to cheer everyone on too, but it's exciting to see what the BAs have in store for us.

It could be battle loot from the event, but I too hope it's a new impossible challenger

Yeah now is the only time that slayer is really worth it. Although it is extremely useful for nightlady with T9 pets. Mod everything with blessed armor. If you have any weapon generating weapons, equip and use them if he starts to steal. I even equipped something as simple as the turkey quill for my T9 pet simply because it generates useless potions.
