I think it would a Bride and Groom banner this time. They won't be able to resist putting a well endowed female unit on it, but they'd be foolish to skip male characters completely. Hah, perhaps we'll get groom Marth to go hang out with Bride Caeda.

I'd be surprised if we go Choose Your Legends this early and without a Feh Channel (it was end of summer last time IIRC?) but it seems to fit with the calendar. Either that, or finally a way to refine the Askr Trio (wishful thinking I know!)

Yeah! The cut scenes don't reset the battle music any more, and it's really nice to hear the whole pieces. Game is way more enjoyable now without it. Ursula with fliers still eludes me, it's the only one I haven't managed to do.

Managed to summon both an Ishtar and Ares in one round tonight, which was lucky! My Ares is -HP/+Spd which is good (he apparently has a super bane in HP but... I don't really care). Sadly my Ishtar is just the opposite with +HP/-Spd. She'll probably just collect dust for a while :V

So I think I must've just lost a unit on my first run of arena and forgot about it because I managed to clear the threshold pretty safely on my second go through, ended up around rank 20k when you need 26k to promote. I decided to commit to Fae, though, as I really need to work on a merge project. I promoted my +Spd -HP Fae and merged my 5* alongside a bunch of upgraded 4*s and now have a +5 Fae. Went all in and gave her Steady Breath, Aether from a promoted Chrom, QR3 from a Subaki and Lightning Breath+ from Tiki. And gave her summoner support, sorry Nino. Big big investment but... she seems pretty versatile and basically soloed the Xander Lunatic GHB, which I was grinding supports on earlier. Now I just need to pull some more! Wouldn't mind a +Def -HP if I stumble across one.

- Fae is definitely worth the investment. I would feel like I'm copying my friend if I went for super Fae though. So I'm going for super Nowi instead because I already had her, and have already invested a lot into her. My friend kept her Fae +HP for panic ploy she has like 75 HP, it's ridiculous.

Yeah I wanted to go for Nowi but have pulled so few (I inherited my first to Ninian for Lightning Breath+ and have a second that still has Def +3) that I can't really justify the investment. I also am thinking about revamping my Effie, too, as I have a spare Hector (I'm sorry ;o;) and quite a few in my barracks. I think I'd go Res refined Berkut's Lance. Not sure though because... do I really want to use an armour unit for arena? Maybe the changes have made it less painful.

- Nowi was one of the first units I promoted to 5* I fed her Warding Breath to be more tank, I haven't given her Aether, but I might. Right now she's got Ignis/Bonfire (depending on my mood and the map) and def refined Lightning Breath, but I could give her speed + refine. She's +att -HP, I can't decide if I like that better than +def or +spd though. I pulled a +def -spd one, which has gained popularity recently with all the 'Fighter' skills making speed less worthwhile to have than def, but I still like speed. Getting doubled less is always good.

- I have a Reinhardt curse, where every Reinhardt I summon is +spd. I used 2 for Vantage fodder this week.

I'm really loving Aether with Breath, it's great fun to send Fae into the fray and just watch her soak hits and heal up. Chrom promotion was expensive but worth it! I can't wait to use her for TTs ha.

Also ended up promoting the Effies. I'm sure I summoned a 3* one the other day but she went missing ha, maybe it was my imagination. So she's sat at +4. I ended up going with a +Res -Spd rather than my +Atk -Spd as she gets a super boon and probs doesn't need... more attack. I'd like Vengeful fodder to run an Aether build as the charges are a little slow without but she does perfectly well with Wary and Bonfire. My score is around 706 so I might be able to promote to T20? Maybe? For like the third time ever? We shall see. Not sure what the cut off is as I usually just accept demotion.

Also played some Shadow Dragon last night on a flight and managed to miss Jeorge as the village he was in was destroyed whoops. Playing without the internet is hard.

- Yeah, Aether + Breath is good, I have the Chroms for it, and the feathers, but I haven't worked up the courage to do it.

My Effie is -def +HP I believe, She has brave lance + and Sol. I doubt I'll ever make an armour emblem team for arena or anything, so I probably won't end up doing anything with her. She only really comes out for the monthly quests. But Brave Lance with Deathblow and Sol does her pretty well for a budget build. Wary Fighter keeps the doubling away, and Sol keeps her health up to use it.

I've never been higher than T19, and I've never seen an arena score higher than 695. I don't much care if I drop, as long as I keep getting orbs for either. lol

Hrm. The game is usually pretty good about giving 'hints'. Be sure to watch all the cute scenes, and check the enemy units for ones that have names or non-generic profile images. Pretty sure that everyone you can recruit in Shadow Dragon can be recruited by Marth, usually another unit can do it too, but I think Marth is all you really need. (but you should always be trying to visit all the villages, before they get destroyed. They always give you something)

Lmao Olwen's attack is sad (I've pulled three as pity breakers, no +Atk or +Spd) but I've kitted her out with Darting Blow and Iceberg and she can sometimes do the thing with a Hone Cav buff. I've used her for a couple of TTs now - one with buffs, one without - and she can usually kill the reds and blues I need her to.

Silhouettes are lame but at least it isn't CYL so probs skip, depending on brides. I feel like they have to give us a couple of grooms, though.

Yeah most units are recruitable by Marth or Caeda, from what I've seen. Sometimes is slightly annoying as they'll suicide on you, happened to me a couple of times. For Jeorge I was slightly surprised by how quickly the thief took the village - I was sending my cavs across but evidently they were too slow and it fell; it happened so fast that I assumed it wasn't too important so just played on. Whoops! Ah well, he's a pre-promote and I usually avoid them like the plague anyway.

Maybe they're trying to fool us by teasing the 2 brides and the 2 other might be grooms? I'd bet on a groom Marth to match Bride Caeda maybe? We'll know tomorrow for sure haha :P

tharja looks alright; it's basically her usual outfit + some extras? i would've liked to see a full gown like the others, but it's better than another bikini p: ninian has the same artist as halloween nowi and soleil -- it's not for everyone, but it's a soft flat style i really like. sanaki's art is similar (i just like... matte/soft shading i guess ¯(ツ)/¯), but her dress is kind of ugly imo.

and marth! marth gets an alt! and a horse! god, i hope they don't give him crazy skills since we only get two ;o;

yeah, I'm not a huge fan of Soleil or h.Nowi either, but it's really the bouquet that I don't like on ninian, it's too neon compared to the rest, and also the weird rust orange bustle sash thing, it looks really out of plcae. Sanaki's dress looks pretty similar to the old bridal units to me, it is rather ugly.

I'm a bit burnt out on fates characters (until they give me Scarlet) But there's still a lot of awakening units that we have yet to see, like Rickard and Kellam! I'm not really tired of any one game, but I am tired of seeing the same units get alt forms over and over. I don't really want ANOTHER Tharja, but if we do get one, I hope they use her Dark Knight art, and give her at least a shirt, a pony would be nice too.
