So, I was a little disappointed with the Ellen Degeneres show. But my expectations were a bit too high thanks to twitter hyping her! x'D But yeah, it was a nice appearance nonetheless!! I loved the performance~ ♥

oooh i haven't watched them on ellen yet! it's been hectic around here lol ahh yeah, people were really hyping it up... i love ellen, but her shows are very mellow lol, its not like the extravagance of a late-night talk show ;p i saw she has emojis of them with her emoji app now... they're cute! but i can't say that i'll be buying them any time soon huhuhu

there is actually more content form behind the scenes than in the actual show, I find that funny! xD There's also that thing they did where they stood behind a door and fans are standing in the other side and then the doors would open for a few seconds, surprising the fans!! I'm not gonna lie, I was so jealous of those girls! x'D

I'm not a huge fan of SHINee but they introduced me to k-pop in my early teens. It's unfortunate how mental health is still swept under the rug. I hope that his suffering has ended and may he rest in peace.

Still waiting for SM to give an official statement. [Edit] There are a lot of different reports. Some stating he passed away, some says he is recovering in ICU etc etc. Until further and valid proof, I hope he is still alive. [Edit]

Oh, man! It's really awful news... These big companies really disgust me. They never seem to know how to treat idols as actual human beings. The boys from SHINee must be devastated...

:( Still can't believe it.. The kpop world lost an amazingly talented artist today. His voice was so beautiful.. not only in SHINee but his solo songs as well. Ugh, so sad.

It’s my first time posting, but I wanted to express my feelings here. As someone who grew up during the Hallyu era’s Wave in 2009, SHINee was one of two or three boy groups I enjoyed. I loved their experimental musical sound, and Jonghyun had a special place in my heart years later when I found out he wrote Lee Hi’s breathe. It’s a song I care for dearly; I wanted to just write this here to say thank you. Thank you for all your years of working hard, for speaking up for those with mental illness, for LGBTQ+ rights, and for being you. I hope you’re at peace and you’re happy, and I’m so sorry that you didn’t find the love, support and appreciation that you needed here.

this really is the worst.......... nothing could have prepared me for this news this morning. i woke up and bawled my eyes out for half an hour. was late for work. i have a jonghyun poster from base on my wall, and shinee's odd poster up as well. every time i lock eyes with him a new wave of tears comes on. i've been a fan of shinee for seven years... the reason i got into kpop was because i saw a picture of him on my tumblr dashboard one day, haha...

i just read his final note and i've never been more heartbroken. thank you so much, for everything you've done, for everyone you've supported and the causes you stood for.

you did a good job. you worked hard.

this really hit me harder than i thought it would, it almost doesn't seem real. i kept reading things on twitter and tumblr trying not to cry, but lost it when i read the post about yoogeun from hello baby and then jonghyun's letter ..... i can't imagine what it's like right now for his family and the other shinee members.

thank you for all the music and support you've given to us. you've worked so hard and done so much, jonghyun. we know you tried your hardest and i hope wherever you are, you're at peace now.

it's also ok to mourn and to take your time to mourn. please don't hesitate to seek help either.
