Hey all... I never post here, so I'm trying to make a point of getting to know people in the group. I'm basically new, but I've been "in" the group for awhile... I mostly just participate in contests, because I'm shy and bad with names...

Cleaning is no fun! I'm in the same boat as you... Desperately need to clean, but I keep putting it off for other things. Translating, playing on the computer, subeta... :O Watching TV shows... Oh, and welcome to the group :)

Lucky you with the good weather. :) Usually, the weather is nice here, but unfortunately we've had a terribly cold spring... Even a lot of the flowerbuds got frozen off... Usually it barely freezes in winter here, so in the spring? Everyone was completely unprepared. All of the trees had their leaves out, and since a lot of people have trees from warmer climates, a lot of them had their leaves die. It was so tragic looking... :(

sadly no. and as long as I have to have a dressing on the wound then the tape has to be there. It is getting much better though, so maybe it won't be long. So glad to hear your improving. Although I too have headaches we will survive :)

Good Morning Everyone! I cleaned out my bedroom most the day yesterday (and rearranged a few things), so today I'll probably spend more time on here! I'm not ready to tackle another room in the house yet. :D

- We've had odd weather this year, to say the least. This past winter, we only had one winter storm, and it wasn't even snow, only ice (usually 5-6 storms). It was even pretty warm all winter. It only got into the 30s right around the time of that storm, but otherwise it's been in the upper 40s and low 50s. I basically only wore pants one week this year. XD That's terrible about all of the flowers! Our flowers were in full bloom in February this year because it was soo warm. We've been in the high 80s to 90s these past week weeks, but we're currently getting a few days of nice low 70s (it's also supposed to rain though, so not fun because I can't open the windows).

- I used to have a super messy room ALL the time, but as I got a little older, I tended to keep it neater. Now it's stays mostly neat, but I have to go through and clean out drawers and stuff because I just show things everywhere to make it LOOK neat. I also like to change things up sometimes, but this room can only have most of the furniture in one spot (I cannot wait until we move so I can completely change it up!). Thanks about the siggie! I am absolutely obsessed with Stitch! I have plenty of other siggies that feature him that you'll see pop up throughout the year (they're seasonal and holiday appropriate and I love them). What were you cooking yesterday?

Congrats on getting one room done, anyway. :) Yeah, it was really sad... It made the lilac season really short. I mean, lilacs are hardy, but their blooms aren't. :/ And the magnolia trees wound up looking pretty sad. Oh well, everything seems to be recovering, more or less. My in-laws had already moved their kiwi plant outside, though, and I don't know it that will make it at all. It lost all of its leaves in the freeze. :(

- Ooh, so I went to add you as a buddy and read your profile. Do you like Criminal Minds? I can't wait until we move so we can plant flowerbeds outside the house again! We're in a townhouse now and there's no room for it.

I DO like Criminal Minds. But only the original, not that international one. I don't like that they invented something that so completely COULDn't exist, and then they all are supposed to be experts in all these languages, but they absolutely SLAUGHter the pronunciation. But I like the original Criminal Minds. :) This season has been a rough one, though!!

And I would give just about anything for a garden! We don't have terraces or anything, and we're right under the roof overhang, which is massive because it's such a tall building, which means even our plants that sit directly in the window struggle to get enough light. It's tragic, especially for two people who are as good with plants as we are. All of our plants survive, but nothing more. :/

- Oh I don't watch any of the spin-offs either (though I did watched the BB last week because Prentiss was in it). I'm obsessed with the show a bit, and yeah, this season has been kinda rough. How do you think this finale is going to go down? I'm trying to avoid all the sneak peaks that are all over social media currently. It's hard. My mom has a few orchids she keeps in the windows, but she'd love to have some hanging plants and flowerbeds. Soon soon. I hope anyway. (I don't so much enjoy tending to the flowers, but I always liked to look at them)

What show is the BB? I think... I mean, I haven't heard any buzz about Reed leaving the show or anything, though frankly I've been afraid to check. But I think... I hope he's going to be okay... I dunno. If they write him out though... I think if he goes, Garcia will, too, and then the only original left will be Jennifer, and Prentiss (though she still feels new, even though she was on the show for years, then off, and she's been back awhile), and then I don't know if the show will be worth it with no more Derek, no more Reed, and no more Garcia... :/ So I really, really, really, really hope he's fine, and they're both staying...

A lot of shows have had rough seasons. NCIS LA has been terribly rough, too. :( And Bones ended, which I understand, because that ran a long time, but I loved it. And loads of my other favorite shows have ended in the last year or two, and they're not being replaced by anything remotely similar. :( No more Castle, no more Mentalist... No more Rizzoli and Isles... :(:(:(:(

We have one orchid in our window. It's actually doing surprisingly well, unlike all the other orchids we killed off. It's sprouting lots of new roots, and the leaves are quite healthy. No sign of any stems for blooms, though. :/

- BB is Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders. I don't normally watch it, but Prentiss was guest staring so I was just curious and watched. It's pretty boring compared to the normal though. I'm pretty sure Reid isn't leaving, as the producers have said it a few times. I think the actor has just been working on some other projects this season, so they had to do something to make up for his lack of time. I don't think there's supposed to be any more major cast changes (thank god). Have you ever seen Flashpoint? (It's Canadian) I like that one too, but it only ran 5 seasons (been off for a bit now). I like the original NCIS and Law and Order: SVU too (which are both still on thankfully) but I don't keep up with them regularly. It's a shame Bones ended, I loved that one, but now that it's off I can go marathon it! XD

Ah, oh right. Yeah, because that show is supposed to be why she was gone, right? She was theoretically running BB or something? Of course, she returned to the real Criminal Minds before BB really started, so... Incidentally, isn't the new guy in Criminal Minds meant to have been stolen from BB? I don't really like him, though. I don't think he's a terribly great actor...

Ah, that makes sense... Kind of how Kensi got injured on NCIS this season, because she was actually taking time off to have a baby in real life. :O I'm glad that shows are willing to do that these days... Give their actors a temporary reduced role so that they don't completely quit when life gets complicated or busy!

Flashpoint... I have that saved to my sidereel watch list, so I INTENDED to watch it, but I must never have started, because I would remember it if I had... It stars Veronica Mars' dad!!! He's a fun actor. I like him. And I LOVED Veronica Mars.

And yeah, I miss Bones already. :( I should marathon that in German (I try to watch old series that I liked in German, to practice my listening skills). I don't know if my husband would be game, though, because it's a bit gory, and he isn't great with gore. :/

I watch the original NCIS, too, but since they've lost they're major stars, I'm not as big of a fan, so I'm not as excited to keep up with it. And I don't love the actors in the new New Orleans version, though I do usually keep more or less up-to-date with it... Haven't watched any Law and Orders in years and years though. I quit them when the CSIs were good. But then I quit the CSIs because they started to be horrible and ridiculous...

Getting a therapeutic massage and a new mattress tomorrow. Should be nice. Hopefully will help with the headaches as I am running out of options. Had a visit from dmy today to catch up on stuff. Nice sunny slightly breezy day. The new bovyne glade pet is so pretty.

orchids they sell in supermarkets seem to be hard to kill. We have two.

I love most of the NCIS stuff and am caught up on it. I am many season behind Criminal Minds. Watching it on Netflix but I have so so many shows I am watching.

Loll, I am gonna be 26 next month and my room is still a mess. I am horrible. I don't know why...I can be crazy organized about other things. Oh, and I was making chili.

- Nope. Beyond Borders is just a shoot-off. They had an episode in one of the seasons (11?) that spun it off. When they wrote Prentiss out at the end of season 7, they sent her off to run the London Interpol office. They basically just brought her back because they lost Hotch and bringing her back was the best decision ('cause no one else would really work, especially right after the show lost Morgan). The new guy, aka I speak in one tone, was from the BAP or something, which is just another unit like the BAU. I am not a fan of him either. He's too monotone and has basically no personality and doesn't fit in which the 'family'. I'm really hoping he leaves. I like Tara and Luke though. You see, I know too much about this show.. it's kinda sad. XD I love that the shows let the actors take time too! That way we don't lose our favorite people just because they have other stuff going on. Also yeah, the regular NCIS isn't much to watch these days without Tony and Ziva, but I still watch it occasionally when re-runs are on. I never really got into the other NCIS, but I know I'll marathon it one day.

- We've noticed that too. Most of the orchids around our house die via cat if they die at all. :D

- I mean, some people just aren't neat? It's normal. :D

Oh right, Interpol. Yeah, I think it was easy for them to get her back. I don't know if you read up a lot on the actors in real life... But I guess the actor that played Hotch was a real jerk, and no one liked working with him... So I wonder if Prentiss didn't leave basically saying hey, I don't want to be on the show as long as he's there? So then, once he was gone, she was probably happy to come back. It's a shame they lost Morgan, though. Maybe he'll come back eventually, too?

Aka I speak in one tone... That's so accurate! I think that is what annoys me the most. He's such a nothing character. Tara grew on me slowly, so I don't mind her, but I don't love her character. I feel a little bit like they brought those two in to somehow replace Morgan over time, and I just don't think they work so well... But then, I NEVER take new characters on very happily. I hated Nell on NCIS for ages for taking over the psychologists slot, and when my hubby and I rewatched the show, I realized Nell was on for like eight seasons, and the psychologist was really only a full member of the show for about a season... :O And I still resented her for about 6 seasons because she replaced him. :O And even on NCIS, I resented Ziva for a little while at the very beginning, when she came on to replace Kate... But in the end, she was an amazing character, and I forgot Kate completely, so, yeah... Maybe in the end, I'll get to like some of these new characters better. I guess I just don't like change in my shows!!!

Yeah, my sidereel list is ridiculously long... But the shows I currently keep up on are the three NCIS's and Criminal Minds. Plus, I've started a few new ones, and I've been watching some previously cancelled shows, or shows that only have a few seasons, so I don't know if I'll actually wind up keeping up with them or not... There are so many shows out there!!! But with so many that I love to watch recently cancelled, maybe I'll catch up on some of the ones I started watching, but am super behind on. :O

I'm the same... When and where I'm organized, I'm super organized. And when I clean, it's usually a major overhaul of a single space. But in between... I get super, super messy. Right now, we can't even find our couch or our dining room table, because my husband is just like me, and between the two of us.... Furniture just gets buried sometimes! :O

Good Morning Everyone! It's much sunnier here today! I'm hoping to get the windows open for a bit.

- I do kinda read up on them (some are kinda entertaining on social media). I've heard the same, that Hotch was a jerk of an actor (I know he got fired because of an altercation of sorts). From what I know, Paget (Prentiss) and AJ (JJ) lost their contracts during season 6 (same season as the Lauren Reynolds stuff) because CBS was like 'we need different females for the show', which was admittedly the stupidest thing they could have done, because Paget and AJ are the best, and it just would've been better if neither of them had ever left. So JJ is off for 95% of season 6, and Prentiss leaves for like the last six episodes, and then CBS got a lot of shit from fans, so they brought them back for season 7. AJ stayed for good, but Paget left after another year because she said she didn't feel right being back. So like, if CBS wouldn't have been stupid, we could've had Paget and AJ forever and it just would've been perfect. (Prentiss is admittedly my favorite) After Prentiss left, they brought in Blake and Kate, and honestly, I feel like they never filled the role. Then Tara came, and while I wasn't too fond of her, I liked her better. In the end though, it doesn't matter, 'cause we still have Tara even though Emily is back (yay). I like Luke's character, and I think he's doing a good job and starting to fit into the 'family', but there is still the hole that is Derek Morgan (and always will be). BUT, you know he is coming back for the finale? I'm hyped. I can't wait to watch tonight. I don't generally take to new characters either, but the person Prentiss replaced on CM (Elle Greenaway) never really did it for me, so that was a happy replacement. And I remember liking Kate on NCIS back when, but I honestly like Ziva a lot better. Something about her personality and bickering with Tony just clicked. Whew. That was a lot of typing... hope your morning is going good! Can you remind me where you're from? I've forgotten. EDIT: They could kill of Mr. Monotone anytime and I wouldn't care in the least. Or he could just go back to the BAP. That'd work too.

Last weekend revs came down with Joe to see Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 with me. He also brought my clothes I left so now I won't have to be doing laundry every 2-3 daysXD
