Nice sunny day today. We have been working on not flooding the area using dams and such so a nice sunny day is more than welcome. Our home would be fine, but dmy lives by the river. Been getting things to be more comfy here including getting a new water filter pitcher and a phone cover and the mattress of course. Trying to make this as good as possible to make it easier on me so I can work toward recovery. Just trying anything.

Good Morning Everyone :D Everything has been good here, just haven't been on Subeta much (well, lurking, but not posting). I'm almost done with classes for the semester, then have about a month of a lull before camp starts. I'm going to visit grandparents halfway through that time, and hopefully heading to Carowinds or Kings Dominion (amusement parks) with a good friend during that time as well. :D Otherwise, not much going on with me. I expect I'll be super busy this summer with camp, but the only thing I'm doing this summer is camp (I was always doing something else with it before) so hopefully I'll have lots of time in the evenings and on the weekend to hop on and play.

- Just about everything you just said in android-y speak went right over my head! :P Though, our phones did just updates to the new android (7.0 Nougat) which is nice. It's got a sleek feel to it. We weren't expecting Verizon to push the update out since our phones are two years old now, so that was nice. Makes it feel like a new phone without actually buying one.

- This past weekend was supposed to be the first training session, so I'll hear about it from my older kid this evening I'm sure! :D

Apparently photobucket has been put on the proxy list for sites that are blocked at my work now. So annoying. Like can we sensor anything else? 😠

Hi bb <3 Oh yes, many shades today. :P I thought it was a bit purplish too, but I liked how they all worked together - and yet they probably won't work w/ anything else, that I have, anyway. lol The lugol's has been amazing. It takes awhile to get into your system and starting out w/ a low dose is recommended, as well as taking selenium w/ it but not at the same time. After a month for me, I am definitely more alert, can function way better on less sleep (not that I'm trying but it seems when they days start to get longer, I have a harder time sleeping through the night) and my retention of things I learn, even on a several day bender of not getting enough sleep at night, is quite amazing.
I went through that video and it's barely even a fraction of what I read about it, which is kind of disappointing.
I have some other movies I watched to that I can't remember if I mentioned them or not so here's the list: Hacksaw Ridge (really good - they should make all war movies this way so people can really see how gory things are) Nocturnal Animals (another one I didn't finish b/c it was at night and I didn't want to have dreams about it) Passengers (slow, think I may have mentioned this one) Ugh.. now I'm starting to think that I may have already posted what I watched a few weeks ago. lol And yeah, The Void is pretty weird, even for me. Oh and btw, we had those really good storms on Saturday morning. Crazy winds, rain and of course the thunder and lightning all combined was just insane. Nothing went out, though. Good thing too, since I was working from home all day.

Yes, that's the one. Life is good but I wish they had put more time into the science side of it. Things seem kinda crammed and rushed. Good little twist at the end, though. ;)

Hi all. Love your HA, esp the pretty hair. Went to see my eye doctor and had a small bleed in my left eye. I was seeing 5 different patterns but by the time I got to him was only seeing 2 different ones occasionally, and then one changed, so improving. He thought the migraine was partly to blame but that the diabetes out of whack was far more responsible. Since I have been really good with that and seriously moderating some things, and my levels are much better, he feels that the bleed will heal on its own and my vision will return to normal. YAY!!!! :) He gave me a new Rx and I will be so glad to get my new glasses. They should be here this week. I broke my last pair and have been wearing the pair before that, so not great but still helpful. lol But very glad I kept the old pair. You never know.

Had my hearing test and saw the ENT today. Hearing was improved slightly, but still pretty bad. She thinks the kidney failure was responsible for that. Unfortunately my hearing loss is permanent. :( She said a hearing aid might help so now I have to look into that, but also that it might not. Sigh.

Seeing my diabetic doctor Wed and my Nephrologist (kidneys) next Thurs, so will be looking forward to what they have to say.

Oh - my opinion is different about Logan. I couldn't get through the whole thing. It was so dreary and depressing I just couldn't keep watching. But my son said it was a good story.

Yay for the new mattress! I'm jealous. Wish I could get one. Hope all the things you are doing really help. Cute HA! You are so lucky your power was only off 3 hours and you could still watch videos. Right after I got home from the hospital my power went off and it was one of those they kept saying would be fixed and wasn't. Couldn't stand it and my son came and got me that night and took me to my parents' house. It lasted for days. Can't remember exactly. Ugh.

I have a long weekend scheduled to go visit my grandparents, and the weekend after I'm heading to Carowinds with my bestie, but that's about it. There will be lots of laziness, and maybe I'll FINALLY finish up Criminal Minds. I'm like half way through season 11 (even though I'm watching new episodes). The finale is also in like two weeks, dunno what to expect.

Lovely weather today. Sunny, cool and comfortable. Windy though. Wind advisory all afternoon but except for a little rattling of the window screens it's super nice. So much better than nearly 90 the other day. Everything is very green with all the rain we've had (more expected again Thursday, Friday and Saturday).

Hoping that once Vesnali starts I'll be able to get whatever new flowers they put out and other stuff. Since they decided to make Vesnali permanently later I'm figuring it won't start until near or after we head to NJ (all things being equal right after Mother's Day) and I have less computer access there. Wish it wasn't so late, maybe I'd be more interested in playing if it had started when it used to.
Doctor stuff to do for mom before that because right after we get back in June she's having hip replacement for her other hip. Then it's weeks of recovery and rehab. Hoping she will be walking better and with less pain (and therefore the need for less pain meds) by Autumn.

Grats on the job! Baking is fun. If you get a chance to practice, cake decorating is fun. I never got as good as I'd have liked but I used to do it a lot as a teenager.

Hope the new mattress helps out with sleeping and your headaches and overall feeling better! How did dmy's home fair with the flooding? Hope it was okay.

Thanks. Mood is pretty much unchanged. Not finding much interest in anything atm. All that flat land would definitely make for difficult/boring driving. And car rides put me to sleep anyway. When I drive I have to do all sorts of stuff to stop myself from being sleepy. When I was little I always brought a pillow with me and (in ancient times before child safety seats) I would put my pillow on the back floor of the car and get down there and sleep.

Nearly time for camp already. Time flies. Hope you'll get more time to pop in to say hi in irc - once I get my own person back into irc. Not been going myself much lately. Good luck with your end of semester work!

A post was started about it and suggested it be permanent and she posted > Rah and I have been toying with the idea of making this permanent! We know both the staff and users get a bit burned out after so many holidays essentially back to back. With Vesnali more into May, we don't have a dead zone of may-august so much anymore, which is also nice! (The thread is in the feedback forum if you want to read it).

I would prefer not to wait until May but that's because it's always busy for me and I'm not at home for much of it. Once I am not going every year to NJ I wouldn't care when Vesnali started probably.

I may have seen the previews for American Gods, but I'll have to go back and watch a trailer. I'm all for new stuff but shows are usually hit or miss when they start in Spring and go into Summer. Well, the Fall lineup is usually that way, too. lol

I definitely get to see more when I'm a passenger and feel like I can move around and do more things. :P It can get really boring when you've got passengers that just sleep and you want to show them s/thing or experience a site w/ them and you just have to sit there and be quiet. -_- I guess it's even worse driving by yourself, though.

My co-worker is currently recovering from hip surgery. His were going bad due to the type of cancer he had (bone marrow?) about 15yrs ago and all the crap they gave him. He's only 54.
Can't wait until he comes back b/c he makes me laugh and helps me understand mainframe stuff like no one else can. It's a long road, though.
I'm sure you'll be extra stressed when she goes through that. :( Can totally understand that. hugs

I started watching 13 Reasons Why on Netflix about a teenage girl that committed suicide and sent out cassettes of herself talking about it to different people she knew. I had received an email from my daughter's school about it, saying this that and the other about how it may be a "trigger" and I'm just like - oh yeah, the precious little snowflakes all need to avoid the triggers of the world and we need to change all the laws so that things don't trigger them into s/thing - when really they need to be taught how to deal w/ things and move the fuck on. rant over I had already wanted to watch it, as it sounded interesting, but then I saw that email and it triggered my angry button. LOL Just finished up Frequency, which was really good, and didn't have anything else to watch so I started that this morning (when I woke up at 2). >.<

Well that does sound like a good extended weekend, or maybe even a full week, but you need more playtime than that. ;)

I've only seen Dead Like Me and Hannibal (have both on either blu-ray or dvd). They've been very good. I've been recommended Pushing Up Daisies numerous times but never gotten to watching it.

Only time I really fall asleep while a passenger is when there is nothing going on. If there is conversation or cool things to look at, I can stay awake. Other than that, I tend to fall asleep, lol.

9 more days of school!! 9!! I can't wait...I want to be done xD Some of the kids are getting annoying since it's so close to the end of the school year. And I had a sub for 4 out of the 5 days last week. Totally treated myself to ice cream yesterday! The store finally has Blue Bell back...I missed that stuff so much xD

Hello everyone. I did some running around today. Tried to do the whole comic book day thing today, but it was just too much and instead we went to an art gallery and I got a cute felt gnome and a lovely little print painting. Then we went to the pet and garden place and got Loki hay and bedding and some plants for the pots that we have for the walkway. Bruised by shin moving the potting soil by hitting the trailer hitch.

Got two game up in our forum area. An HA one that is deceptively hard and a trivia that I hope isn't too hard.
