dmy is well, but has a little cold. Just busy. She is hanging out here today so... all good. Tomorrow the kids and her and me and mom are going to see endgame. Then Friday there is a festival we are going to. Getting bigger but still active and good.

I'm baaaaack.

So much has happened in my life since I just sorta. . . poofed from here. A few of ya are on facebook so for the folks not (send me a mail if you wanna connect there) on the faceyspace here's a bulleted tl;dr update:

*no longer miserable and hateful as an outlet to an incredibly traumatic homelife *now happily married, minimal contact with my birth family *therapy, lots of therapy.
*literally half my size (I had gastric bypass last year, I've lost 146lbs) *traded rural farming for urban farming; working on making an urban homestead in Columbus, Ohio (FR, the amount of love I have for this city is probably clinical but the community here has helped me grow so much.)

So has this place changed (but also hilariously stayed the same in some aspects), excuse me for a few weeks while I get my sea-legs again. I see cults as they were are dead and honestly, I'm relieved. Forums look, uh a little dead compared to back in ye olde days, where's everyone lurking now? I'm absolutely terrified at the prospect of catching up on wearables lol

High fives and fist bumps all around, and I am so happy to see so many familiar faces :)

Wow! Holy Shit! Glad to see you, thrilled you are so happy now, and I don't think I knew you that well or that long, but I remember you definitely when I first came here and that was 7 years and three months ago thru skye_raven. She unfortunately got sick and passed away 2/3/18. We are still upset about it because it was so sudden and no one knew until I think it was Brinny went on her FB page and there was rip. It was gut wrenching. Dragonfae left Subeta a while back and let me use that name for one of my pets. Some others have left and new friends have joined. Subeta is quite different - YAY! - lol in a lot of good ways and some took some work. But I'll let the others tell you.

[edit] Get jersey to tell you about Discord. Sometimes they talk there, but I never get on it.

glad you are feeling better and welcome back. A lot has happened to me too. I can drive now, am in a book club, a few months from having a new niece, therapy too and meds, and living half time with dmy and her husband.

Discord is where the chatter is.

Going to be helping with vacation bible school at the church I sometimes attend with dmy. A bit nervous but I will just be an extra hand with no real set in stone duties.

I had quadruple bypass, doing well now. Hubby getting put on the kidney transplant list.
I just did VBS for some church children. Had a great time.
Yes a lot of changes here on subeta, but I'm still in and out.

well change of plans for now. Hubby's kidney function is down to 13% so they are doing surgery this morning to put him on dialysis. I'll be back when I can.

That's wonderful news but my goodness the unnecessary stress created. Am glad the surgery and dialysis are not needed.

Yes it was a good mistake. still have to wait on the transplant though.

I haven't heard from SpiritedLass. Been watching for her and I did comment her. Maybe I'll send her a smail.

She had done something to her hand or arm. Not sure exactly what but she said when I commented a long while ago that typing was really difficult. I hope it is easier soon and she can pop in to say hi and hopefully she will reply to you slippy when she can. I know she still pops in 'cause her status changed recently.

Got a reply from my smail, here is what she said -

Please don't worry. Having issues with my right hand/arm not healing as expected and need to use my left hand for everything from now on. Hips bother me on sitting so I don't spend as much time here as I would like. Miss you all, thank you for thinking of me.

Mornin' KSrs. Getting ready to pack up the electronics and things so I can pack up the car and still have time for a quick shower before heading out. It's super humid here and I know after packing up I'm going to feel too yukky to make the long drive without a shower. Cannot leave early since we have to turn equipment back in to the local cable company. Will pop in to say hi later tonight or tomorrow depending on how I feel. Y'all have a good day.
