Evenin' KSrs.

Car is partly packed. Tomorrow the electronics and whatever we still need to use in the morning will go in and we'll be on our way. Will pop in once I get the internet set up tomorrow or maybe not until Thursday depending on how tired I am after the drive and all.

Thank you for the birthday wishes! ❤ Wasn't much of a birthday here since we had already decided to celebrate some other day but I've had a very nice subeta birthday.

My brother is much better today, thankfully.

Catch y'all once I'm on the east coast!

Hey guys, figured I would update. I was hospitalized due to low fetal movement and we found out his AFI was 2. We got admitted into in patient and spent the night trying to induce labor with pitocin. I couldn't take it( 12 hours later) , so they took a break to give me an epidural. Went in perfectly and now I'm just riding out the time. If we don't progress any (I've only dilated 2cm overnight) we will be c sectioned.

Hope everyone is doing well and happy Thursday lol

Drive was nice and uneventful on our side of the road. One accident on the otherside we passed that was going to hold up those heading west for a bit. I'm quite exhausted today. Surprisingly so. Feels like my recovery from the drive will take a little longer than it used to. Rained today so we just had lunch at a diner and got some groceries to hold us over the holiday weekend so we have the weekend to recover and organize ourselves.

Glad you got admitted and you're being looked after! Hope everything starts moving along for you soon!

Yeah. We were on pit for 24 hours. Nothing happened no progression. His HR was dropped, my BP was high. So I had a c section

How are you doing? How much longer do you have wait to have your baby?

Hi all. Hope everyone is doing well. I'm fine, just the normal aches and pains. If anyone needs Vesnali coins, I have some to share. :)

I’m 36 weeks tomorrow! Only a few left to go, but I’m already ready for this to be over. Pretty much can’t get comfortable at all anymore, and family has begun to give me worried looks every time I leave the house because apparently I seem like I’m really sick and miserable. Admittedly my morning sickness (which I still have, despite it being incredibly unfair) has gotten harder to manage again, and is now joined by its lovely cousin, acid reflux. Between that and swelling and just generally carrying a bowling ball with my stomach muscles, I’m ready for him to be out whenever he’s ready.

He’s doing really well at least! One of the few perks of finding his bilateral clubfoot in his anatomy scan early on is that he gets regular ultrasounds so I don’t have to worry that he’s not developing correctly. My amniotic fluid is finally back up to safe levels, too!

Oh no he has a clubfoot. I'm so sorry. I used to know someone that also had it on both sides. She went though a lot, incl several surgeries. But that was many years ago and I'm sure there is so many new things they can do to help that. I remember when I was in the last few weeks of both pgs I would rest my belly on a table as I went by. lol I'm 5'10" and I was the perfect height. Took the weight off for just a bit and was a relief. My friend laughed at me but had to agree it worked. lol I hated the morning sickness. It was rarely in the morning. Usually it was in the afternoon - evening, right when I was getting off work and riding the bus didn't help at all. At least it will all be over soon. <3

Both feet are clubbed, but thankfully, he won’t require major surgery unless treatment fails. They’ve made amazing strides using a casting system while their bones are still flexible when they’re born, and then boots and bar (3 months straight of 23 hour wear, then night and naptime wear for 3 years). At some point during that, they will likely have to sever his tendon on his heel, but it grows back entirely in small children within 3 weeks and only requires local anesthetic. It’ll all become routine soon enough, but it took awhile for us to learn everything we needed to know, and that education is what stopped us from panicking. We’ve already spoken to the orthopedics at children’s hospital who will be treating him, and joined parent groups online that helped us really normalize what we’re going through.

My morning sickness is pretty much all day all night. I’m worried my doc won’t argue for the better med (my insurance stopped blanket covering it and won’t pay unless everything else fails, despite me being reliant on it for the past 8 months til now) with my insurance because I’m technically okay and eating, but I’m barely sleeping because of stomach aches and whole body aches, and I’m pretty sure I’ve lost weight from how little I can eat in a day compared to what he uses. I suspect unless he’s not gaining at my next ultrasound tomorrow, there’s nothing she can really do about insurance, but still.

All in all, I’m really ready to be done. I barely leave the house because I tend to swell up like a balloon if I’m up for any period of time, and when I do I’m just miserable anyway and people tell me to go home. A friend came over for a few hours yesterday and I felt bad but I was a zombie the entire time just kinda existing.

At least you know what to expect, and that it will help. That's fantastic. So glad they have improved everything! I would certainly have been panicking too. That is horrible about the sickness. Why are you still having it and so much? That isn't normal, is it? The doctor is sure its morning sickness? I know with some of my meds, ins won't cover unless the dr writes a letter specifically saying I need it and why, then they cover. Maybe it will be the same in your case. That is sheer misery and not good for you or the baby I'm sure. Best wishes on everything and hope he decides to get here soonest!

The morning sickness is normal. I’m just one of the lucky few who gets it through the whole pregnancy, apparently. The doctor tried to appeal the rejection already, but they only cover this particular med if you are allergic to the otc type now apparently. The otc is the same stuff more or less but I think it’s affecting me differently because the other tablets were slow release, so there was always some in my system as long as I reliably took it. The otc is literally just Unisom and 25mg of b6.

Funny enough, even with acid reflux issues, I can digest spaghetti just fine right now but Mac and cheese makes me so miserably sick. There’s no rhyme or reason to what I can or can’t eat, just have to listen and eat what it tells me. Milkshakes are the only thing I can eat semicomfortably when I have severe stomach cramps, but broth or soup of any kind makes me miserably sick.
