Morning everyone, hope all is well 😊 My tests came back "normal" but she wants to put me on a once a week pill. ugh, another pill to take. But I still praise the Lord that nothing is serious.

So what are your plans for the 4th? Since hubby has ptsd, we will stay home. Kids are to far away to come over or for us to visit so that's that.

What test came back normal that she would want to give you a pill? Has this pill been around for at least 5 years I hope?

Trying to stay under the radar of anyone dealing with my health care until my dr comes back from vacation to tell her the latest pill doesn't not work, instead it gave me chest pains.

uh no, if your having chest pains you need to get some medical help. could just be a reflux from the new medication they gave you but I wouldn't take a chance.

my test was a bone density so guessing I've got osteoporosis. She didn't say she just called and told me she wanted me to take it lol.

just tried it once several nights ago to see if I could switch to it and of course I can't Know I should have called a doctor but would not be able to get mine and the last thing I would do is go to the hospital Visiting nurse came yesterday and drew blood, just don't know who wanted her to come Speaking strictly for myself I would never take a pill without knowing why, so I do hope that you ask what the purpose is

No, Slippy, I only had the chest pains that one time I took it - about an hour later so I just went to bed and didn't take it again. The visiting nurse was here once since and yesterday I talked to my doctor's office and the dredded visiting nurse is coming again on the 11th.
Did some research and found out that you are not supposed to take aspirin with my bp meds yet they wanted me to take 325 mg. Since it did not agree with me I stopped taking it.

hmm, I take bp meds and 325mg also. but my bp meds are very low in mg. But I sure am glad your chest pains stopped.
What did the doctor's office tell you?

The BP medicine is a beta blocker that I hate and is considered to be medium strength. Basically they just wanted to ask me questions. My doctor is on vacation this week and I have a lot to talk to her about. Food does not taste good anymore even coffee tastes different, don't sleep well and have difficulty reliving my bowels. Plus I ache. All of this junk is new to me and I am one unhappy camper.

after my bypass everything tasted different so my foods have changed.
I take two stool softners everyday but still have a little constipation. and that's caused by all the meds I take.
I hope you get to talk to your doctor soon. I know they need a vacation too but when ya need them , it's a weird time having to wait.
