Well after a hard week i am now 2 days off. Took some me time this afternoon (had to work till 11am) and rest, watched some tv and took a nap. Doing better now after that drama week last week, gave it a place in my heart and mind.
And taking some more me time later on tonight as i am going to the gym. Wendy would be pleased as i ahve not been there over a month.
Not a good day, woke up to the room spinning and slight nausea. Decided to stay in bed but the vertigo came back when I started to get up. Think it is calcium in my inner ear but not sure. Being a senior is not fun.
glad you got some rest. hope you didn't over do in the gym
Hope it's getting better by now, if not, need to see a doc.

Still feeling dizzy and the visiting nurse is coming today and I have a dr. appt on Monday so of course it is going to be a 90 degree day.
well at least the nurse will see you today. Only 90? try all this triple digit heat we've been having. ugh

So sorry for the weather you're having. Only thing worse than high heat is high humidity. And I pray that Monday the humidity doesn't match the heat in being high.
Evenin' all.
Sorry for not posting in awhile. Nothing wrong, just feeling a bit blue/melancholy.
Not done a whole lot lately. Did post a few picture from last week in our picture thread in the forum though.
The heat is finally finding us again. Nearly 90 today. Cooler tomorrow and then up again it goes.
Going to play tourist tomorrow. Maybe go to a craft show on Saturday if mom decides it's worth the entry fee. It is just a couple dollars per person so I think it really depends on if she wants to get up early Saturday to go. And then on Sunday in the late afternoon/early evening we're going to go see the blessing of the fleet on the island. We used to do it every father's day but then they moved it to the middle of summer and we aren't here then, so it's been many years since we've gone. It's going to be hot but I hope it's breezy enough to keep the bugs away.
Many, so sorry very belated, well wishes to you. I hope you could get back in touch with them to give it another try. If not there then try again somewhere else. No failure. Just keep trying!
Sorry you had a week of so much loss. You have a very difficult job and I hope you have a way to renew yourself when days/weeks like that happen. I'm thankful that people like you do the job you do. ❤
Hope you're feeling better today. How'd it all go with the nurse?
Concert sounds like fun even with a little rain!

sometimes you just have a period of feeling blue, nothing to do about it... I hope you have a great weekend and the craft show will be nice.
After a busy week i am now having a few days off calm. Now in a nightshift (just 1) and it's busy but no weird stuff. Weekend off and on Saturday going to the zoo with friends.
as long as the ac keeps working I'll be okay. What are you doing on Monday that you don't want the heat to meet the humidity? just curious.
Has anyone found Gunter?

Well, am home after a six day stay in the hospital. The Visiting Nurse came to the house listened to my heart and looked at me with a very serious no nonsense look and flatly said she was calling an ambulance. Learned a few shocking things about myself. I've had several strokes. So now am on bp, cholesterol meds and the total of 4 baby aspirin. Had every kind of scan with and without contrast you can think of. So glad to be home with my sweet computer and marvelous pillow. Have missed Subeta.
Oh my! So so glad you had that visiting nurse! How often does she come to keep checking up on you especially now that you've had the strokes?

The odd thing is that she came by when I broke the ribs last month so that day I was feeling dizzy with vertigo and stuffed up so I called my dr to get an antibiotic. Of course she told me I had to come in for it and I said no I was just too dizzy to get into the shower and go outside to get a cab so once again she sent the visiting nurse.
Just got home regarding the strokes from the hospital so I'll have a schedule coming I'm sure. Plus the kind of vertigo I have (and yes I do have fluid in my ear and at the same time took an antibiotic) is called positional vertigo. So I have to go in for PT for it.
Wow sounds like a doozy of a trip. Good thing you had that nurse visit. Feel better. Your own pillow can be such a blessing.
those things need done too.
I went to see solo yesterday with dmy and family. It was quite entertaining. Going to see the Shakespeare company's Macbeth on Friday I think, might be next Friday.

Thank you so much, was very scary. The ambulance could not get through the traffic because of the construction so the driver went the wrong way down the main street with siren blaring. Unbelievable, something I've never seen in a movie even. Couldn't believe what I was seeing out the back and we just zoomed right into Mass General.
