Mornin' KSrs

Gloomy, humid, cloudy, rain expected for the next four days. Some storms. Hot then cool. Weird weather. We didn't make the flea market on Sunday because it was pouring in the morning. I also woke up with a headache like slippy did. Did not feel well late yesterday but felt better by bedtime.

Electrician is coming Sunday. Strange I know, but I get the feeling, though he's not said so, that he is fitting us in after his normal working week which is likely with contractors as opposed to individual homeowners. Which is amazing. Hopefully there are no extra issues once he gets started. The contractor that did the roof is coming some time this week to fix a bit of siding that he said he'd come back to do and then he's going to look at our ceiling to hopefully fix that. fingers crossed both visits go well!

we had another little storm today and it cooled down even more but before that it was so stuffy warm.. pff. Outside is nice now, inside is hot I hope you get cool winds to soon

It's been storming here at least once a day. Yesterday the power went out for a little bit.

well the weather man says we have a cool down coming but he's been wrong before.

They do look like its really happening, how this do this is a total mystery to me but I love it.

I may not be around for a bit. Our AC unit quit working last evening. We had to call someone who is 45 miles away to come to work on it. They are suppose to be here sometime today. It's so hot in the house and we have fans going, but they are just blowing hot air around. sigh.. It always happens to us on a weekend when it's so hard to find help.

So sorry, know how important AC is to feeling healthy. Sad that it so hard for someone to fix a needed appliance. Dreaded thought but sometimes it is cheaper to buy a new one depending on the age and problem of the AC. Godspeed in getting things set to rights. For myself I need the AC for my sinuses, high humidity is my bitter enemy. So naturally I HATE summer.

I need it for my heart and lungs to properly function. I don't have a laptop so hopefully they will come and get it fixed today. It's a fairly new unit so hopefully we won't have to have a new one.

Well i had a craft meeting today. I was so nervous as i never been to one, i did not know anyone, had to go alone and was not in my own city. But i went! And i had so much fun! Met some new people, got ideas, made stuff, made a mess of myself and bought a bulletjournal, as i wanted to start that for ages.

Electrician was here from 9am to 2pm and now we have working outside lights again and all the switches and the outlet under the house have been replaced and work again. Almost 6 years after the storm destroyed them.

Crazy weather. It's June 3rd. Slippy has a heatwave and we have our heat on. The wind is gusty and cold, coming off the water. It's not even going to hit 60 today. Feels like November.

I sure hope they come and fix your a/c. Definitely not healthy with the kind of heat y'all are getting down there.

Well we have had a little cool front come in and its only 93° though it feels like 97°, as opposed to the 100° it was yesterday...ugh. I'm with you I HATE summer.

. I'm jealous of your cold! lol So glad you got all that fixed! All my outlets need to be replaced and some need to be rewired. Maybe someday I can get it done. Oh no! That can be life threatening. I have had heat exhaustion x3 and one was really bad and almost went into a heat stroke. The dr told me I was very lucky that I got help in time. I'm now prone to them and have to be very careful because it takes less to affect me more now. How neat! I wouldn't have gone by myself so I agree with jersey, you were brave. Glad you made new friends and had fun. What did you make? I can't see your pics. Too small for these eyes. lol

got the ac fixed! Praise the Lord. It was the condenser so wasn't to expensive. So now I'm cool as a cucumber :)

thanks, i was so proud of myself afterwards. I made some random cards and dyed 2 with ecoline/ink.

no quilting :( But making card, bulletjournal, dye with ink/ecoline.
