it used to but that might have been before pet elixirs were added. I think one of the Battle Chat regulars actually wrote a guide or two about getting specific stuff from AA in the MB. I'll keep trying to do my battle quests too...but I can only get up to like 20 right now so I'll just have to keep restocking them as well.
Good Luck! 🍀
Haha I'm sure it's fine
Good luck!

Woo for all the new books 37 more books for all 3 of my pets c:
they don't show up as often now but I did manage to snag 24 dark potions today even with work and not constantly refreshing.
Does anyone have any tips for El Tigrean? I've got 3 wins on him and I just cannot seem to get the next two.
Crowley.'s stats: Strength: 2,007 Defense: 2,012 Speed: 2,007 HP: 2,031/2,031
Weapons: Intricate Energized Helmet, Recycle Blaster, Blessed Trident of the Banished One, Soma Tablets, Swashbuckle, Prodigy Staff, Replica Minotaur Knocker, Reviver Of The Lion
Scrolls: Cobalt Eternal, Perilous Whirlpool x2, Screams From the Pit, Fatal Fire, Morosbane, Vengeful Tide, Singed Stuffing, Corroding Dew, Champion, Holy Flux, Divine Denizhen, Diamond Edge (I really don't use any past Singed Stuffing in that list)
Any tips/suggestions would be much appreciated.
There are actually 40 new ones if you mean the ___ of paper that were all just added.
Yeah but I wasn't going to buy the last 3 I needed for all 3 of my pets since they'd already hit 1mil a piece. My pets intels are all still very low (my main as 24 AP now and my most read has 35 AP) so I'll buy the last ones I need if the prices go back down but it isn't worth it to spend the money on those points when I could probably buy a thousand books for the same price. I managed to pick up 3 copies of 37/40 of them for under 100k each which was good enough for me c:
Ah yeah, some of them are absolutely not worth it right now. Prices will come back down eventually (hopefully). Congrats on nabbing so many of the others at good prices. I think I had to pay 200-500k for at least 10 of them earlier. And there were 9 left by the time I was able to buy that were already at/near 1m+
yeah I wouldn't buy them that high. They skyrocketed right after the announcement. I had a copy of 20 of them from a pet I abandoned's TC and I pulled them all out and searched those then realized I was missing 20 of them still. If I had looked it up their name on Subetalodge I might have gotten a few more before they went from being 2-10k to 50-90k but I'm still happy that I managed to get most of them at a reasonable price though my pets are in desperate need of some AP (especially my pet that had 8 AP earlier tonight :c)
I used to have so many spares of them...and then I sold them all because they were useless. And of course, now they're not /sigh
I've just taken a look at the wiki page for el Tigrean. Seems like he's using a lot of physical and earth, so I'd say an earth block will give you some advantage. You can use the Knocker, paired with an earth-blocking infinite healing scroll, such as the Aftershocks Scroll. If you've got the fund for it, I'd recommend it as a better replacement for your Divine. It also provides 10 :block:earth: and 6 :block:physical: , some magma too if el Tigrean uses that Spiked Punch.
I would swap out one of your main wind block (the Swash, for example) for the Phoenix Quill, as it will help you with another round of full health. For this opponent I use Ornamented Hook Swords and Ether to cover the earth and physical damage. If you can borrow these you don't need the Aftershocks. You can pair them up with your Divine scroll.
Freeze him first turn, then try to get your freeze proof blessing up. I seem to have more problem with his chain-freezing me than with his crits. If you have EXP left from BQ this week, I'd recommend boosting your speed up to 2101 so that you don't have to worry about him crit-hitting you. Then the rest should be easier to deal with.
Congrats! I check the shop frequently and seldom find anything... So I guess I'll just have to wait until 2525... ;)
I was the same way. I had a bunch of them, sold them off, then had to buy 20 for the TC, and then when this came around I still didn't have enough for what I needed and had to buy more of them q-q
thanks <3 I bet you'll have it by 2020 at least ;c I just wish I had luck with Spells Galore. It'd be really nice to be able to restock at least some of the items I need for scrolls but I get so lost in that store and either I just pass up all the ingredients I need or they just never show up.
Could someone please give me tips on beating Nacho Muerte please? I can only manage one win :
Pet stats are: Health: 4782 Strength: 3482 Defense: 3480 Speed: 2959
Weapons: Swashbuckle, Blessed Trident of the Banished One, Shinwas Temple Shard, Rainbow Vortex, Phoenix Quill, Reviver Of The Lion, Recycle Blaster & Soma Tablets.
Scrolls: Cobalt Eternal x2, Perilous Whirlpool x4, Shriek of Despair x3, Psycho Smasher, Unstable Fairy, Terra Focujin & Morosbane
Thank you x
Do you have a Volatile Energized Mecha or Intricate Energized Helmet? I would switch out your Shinwas Temple Shard and Rainbow Vortex in favor of those. Full blockers kind of become obsolete at upper tiers.
Both your Swashbuckle and Blessed Trident of the Banished One block wind, so I would switch out one with something that blocks physical, dark, or earth to diversify your defense.
[edit]I also noticed you don't having a scroll such as Aftershocks, Ocean Currents, or Feather Explosion which deal damage, block icons, and heal all at once. I would put one of those as your next goal because they are extremely handy. Let me know if you need to borrow one.
why are full blockers obsolete in upper tiers?
At some point (maybe T11 or so) I realized I stopped using my Shinwas Temple Shard. It just seemed there were better weapon options to fill that slot.
I guess that makes sense once you have the stats to not get 1 shot as long as you have good defense. I assume you mostly just get your defense from scrolls then?
Mostly I try to tailor my weapons to block the most icons I can, then I decide between my Ocean Currents and Aftershocks scroll to determine which one will be best to block a few more icons. At the upper tiers, it is important to have as much of a diverse weapon set as possible because each opponent deals out different icons.
Where you are now, I think scrolls will be your best line of defense. They can make or break a battle so try to keep building up those intelligence points.
