Lol don't we all hate it when it happens, that our enemy steals our stealing bait generating weapon rather than the bait itself XD It happens to me before with Chase and Flamagia so I know how it feels. For more difficult challenger it makes it even more painful.

It's great to hear that you've found battling interesting so far :D Actually I hope they'll add more challengers to the mix, to allow for more variety from level 20-30, but maybe it might not be a good idea after all because it might mean heavier spending for casual battlers to afford the weapons needed for all those different opponents.

I'm so envious of you getting that hoarder achievement :P The furthest I could get was managing to have 12,000 unique items in my shop, and even now most of them are still sitting in my old gallery because I'm too lazy to move them to the new ones (and the new ones won't have enough space to store all of them at once either).

I've been checking the item directory every while now haha. I'm still holding up hope for a good scroll or weapon this year, or maybe a special opponent like the Mutant Scientist.

This is my default set that I've been using for everything currently:

Plus Terra Focujin, Cobalt Eternal, and Fatal Fire scrolls.

I don't really know what icons she does though, tbh I was just kind of winging it.

I seem to own everything in there, except for the Soma Tablets, the Malhuili, the Terra Focujin and Fatal Fire scrolls :P

If you have a minotaur knocker, you could try with that instead of the Malhuili. I looked it up and saw she has a couple of weapons that do earth icons, so that might be helpful. If you have any kind of healing scroll, that will help too since that's all the Terra Focujin scroll does.

Got her down to 3240 with Malignant Rift Staff+Trident+Gelaspell+Cobalts Scroll

However, I can't seem to replicat this at all, with other or the same weapons/scrolls :P

I'll try with the minotaur knocker, but I feel like most damage I get is due to dark and fire mmmh....

Darkness Shard+Fire Shard helped a lot!

Best I did was with Swash, M Rift Staff, DDS (for the dark block), RV, RB, Subetaball, RotL, PQuill, along with a Darkness Shard+Fire Shard.

Probably by the next stat boost, I'll be able to beat her in BQ

Yeah, another boost might do it for you if you're getting close! I'll have to start trying her in the BQs now, even if it takes multiple tries to beat her.

Terra focujin was a really good scroll a long time ago, but it hasn't really aged well.

You used to be able to craft one for 7-10mil pretty consistently, and it was a decent deal, since the next best healing scroll was a couple hundred mil.

Will the introduction of Aftershocks, Ocean current, and the deflation of feather explosion, I would stay away from terra focujin.

Congrats on your win! Now you and know you can stand a chance at beating the kitty in BQ, which means fewer skips and more EXP :D

She's super stubborn when you manage to beat her once or twice, but if you keep adding to your stats you'll see improvement in winning chances every day :D

If you've got Crithbolcan and Sophie unlocked, maybe you'd want to try getting 5 wins against them first for the paintbrush blades and aftershocks scroll (only if you haven't got them yet) first? The paintbrush blades blocks 3 of her icons, has a blessing that covers 5 of each of the other icons, which can take care of her stray icons pretty well. If you pair it with the Aftershocks you'll have more earth, dark and physical coverage.

Another tip is that her blessing is only partially freeze-immune (it's pretty weak actually) so a few freezing scrolls may help in cases of emergency, though you might want to pair it with an attacker with heal + full blocker.

Yeah I would like a healing scroll with some attack or defense eventually, but the Terra Focujin scroll I got was for cheaper than any of those and I didn't have much sP at the time.

I'll probably get something else eventually, but for now I'm just working with what I've got.

I don't have Sophie unlocked yet, but I do have Crithbolcan. I haven't tried to beat that one though, how tough would you say it is?

Not as tough as he looks, but you do need a solid earth block. You definitely can get to 5 wins and probably 10 if you're consistent persistent (I'm so sorry for the typo :'( I must be possessed today). Let me know if you wish to borrow Ornamented Hook Sword and Aftershocks Scroll. If you'd want to know my set for him I'd be happy to share, though I would understand if you want to figure the rest out yourself :D

Paralysap is a beast with high freeze rate it seems (from the 7 he used, he froze me 6x in a row); it's an interesting "medium" difficulty challenger... let's see what he drops on the 5th: Minion + Book, nice :D
