I've tried every combo and the only time I've lasted more than one round is when I use the vortex and freeze first. the very next one I'm gone. it has KO'd me immediately after every time lol

I'm sorry for the confusion D: You shouldn't be facing that opponent. The last one is near impossible for pets that aren't T12+. He doesn't freeze after the first turn and does a mean critical hit. He will pancake your poor pet into oblivion.

hm I don't think I was ever 1hkoed on my first turn. I always started out with blessed trident + intricate energized helmet and TA (so aftershocks for you) and survived. maybe try a death shard or something on the first turn so you can get your chain freeze going? just keep at it, it might be unlucky crits

Still not sure if I should hang on to the gold medal for unlocking the challenger (if I get it). I know I won't be able to beat the 8-head one, but I don't know if they'll be back in the future or if we'll ever be able to challenge them again.

Yikes! He had to be doing like 2k damage per turn. I would not recommend taking him on unless you are T12 with high health to survive the blows.

Did you test the Gauntlet with Heehaw? Maybe we'll notice a difference between tiers?

Panzer Hydra blade is a scaling weapon that scales to be a junky 33-36 damage icon, 15-25ish? light blocker that heals 8% with a tier 11. If someone wants to get more info they could probably test it, but it doesn't seem like a good weapon. Someone should probably check it with a tier 13 though.

Testing the gauntlet and the blade together, they do not appear to have some kind of combo effect.

Someone posted in the news comments a gif of a whirling tentacle thing with a knife, that the hydra may look something like that in real life. :P

Animated battles would be fun, but it would probably be really tough for the artists. And a lot of people would likely just skip the animation part. It's still cool to think about though!

I predict that the gauntlet ends up being something you need to jump through a lot of hoops to get to work, with very minimal payout, like 95%+ of the custom coded weapons.
