Oh yes and all those EXP too XD Just two years ago when I was a T3 or 4 and the reset happened I was like, 'Gosh why did they wipe clean my battle stats?' and regretfully thinking about those nice wins I had accumulated.

and you and the Cranky Carrot inspired me to start investing into my second battle pet too :D Do you remember at which point you started to give Batpod more priority in BQs? I've got some plans for Maskros but Hanson is not quite strong yet so I give her only 5 BQs per day and he takes care of the rest.

It was sometime very soon after hitting T13. Once I saw the EXP increase, I figured I would earn more stats by doing BQs with two pets every day. That being said, if they continue to do a tier split for boss prizes, having two battle pets ready is generally a good idea now.

sadly I won't get to experience that exp when it happens xD

That makes perfect sense given how the last boss battle went. I just hope to get Maskros to T9 before the next boss battle starts. Luckily the amount of stats needed to progress to the next tier between T8 and 9 is not that huge.

Or is it a good thing not to experience that at all XD? I guess it was rather exclusive to me back then as a newbie. Tbh I didn't know a thing about god weapons and good scrolls then. I didn't even know that they existed XD. Back then I thought the whole point of battling was to have nice statistics to show off. I guess I know it much better now haha.

I think the Gelatin War would be the next one. Not sure when it will be, though. Last year it was in May, but Vesnali is being pushed back so it may be even later.

Ah right, sorry I missed the point :P There have been suggestions for spare EXP earned past new cap so I guess (and hope) the BA would make some use out of them eventually :D

when you cap, you don't even earn exp any more. they changed that when they raised the cap. idk if it's worth it to stay 1 point under the cap and hoard exp for no reason or not

So from what I can gather here, a low-ish T10 pet can basically stop at 5 wins on the 5 head, since getting 5 wins on the next one is damn near impossible... Am I reading things correctly?

I have a mid-T9 that has two wins on the seven headed hydra right now. I'm still working on getting to five, but I think I can make it.

I guess they won't allow transfer of EXP, even to buy T4's stats at T13's cost :P I remember ages ago when I wasn't even training my pet, EXP could be used to buy intelligent point too? Last time I read it changed with the last reset, but I cannot remember the amount of EXP needed to buy 1 intel point back then. I just had a vague idea of it being high compared to other stats. Was it 10,000 EXP per point, or was it much higher? I'm just not sure how the battle community would receive the prospect of that happening. I've never really considered the pros and cons of it either.

listed all the hydra's weapons here if it helps. Fire/dark/earth/magma seem to be most prevalent.

that was right before the cap was raised, they let people use the stored up exp on int for 100k a point before they wiped it. I wish they would have left that in and allowed us to keep gaining exp at the cap because I'd totally spend it on that

I wish they would have kept that, too. I mean, 1 intel point for four days of BQs sounds fair to me. Intelligence is so expensive and hard to earn anyway, having another avenue with which to gain it shouldn't be considered a bad thing.

they'd have to add back in exp at the cap which I don't think they're very fond of.

I'm going to have fun only having int boosters on my wl in a few days though, but ugh those are pricey :x

Anyway how did you guys beat the mini Gelatins when your main battle pet was not T13 yet? Did you just spam killing the mini with one strongest pet, or did you spread the wins across several pets? Last year I got to the point where the mini got 2,500 HP or so and the battle wasn't exactly fast-going for my low T10. I think I need a better strategy this year if the war happens again.

the minis? I spread them across multiple pets but Wuf got the majority of them. I forget what the spread was, I did it a few years ago.
