...and I just discovered how much I will have to pay for stats with exp from now on... XD I couldn't expect my happy, glorious day to have a DARK side, now could I? XD But I'm still happy and quite proud to finally be there.

Yeah my main pet I trained up even until 2.5k every stat. My second I started boosting health when he was at T6, my fandom pet I will start boosting strength and speed because of his character, my 4th pet I will maybe boost defense when I start to get more serious with him, and the other two will be based off of how the first four faired.

Interesting! I'll be eager to hear what your progress report is on each of them. I sunk everything into Kilroy's health and strength up until a couple years ago when I started putting effort into his speed, and now I'm putting spare exp into his defense for the most part.

Mm. I've been really fortunate, I got one Shriek two years ago and then two this past Morostide. I was actually surprised that her scroll was a random drop.

Apparently all I needed was to use swashbuckle LOL. Ended that with almost full health. The freezing did help a lot and the lack of that damn curse.

I'm being very meticulous about my main's build. I am trying to build him for endurance but optimal damage. I will let you know how the others turn out. Other Than my main pet and Albert Whisker, I don't know what everyone else's end stats will look like yet.

Thank you so much for the gifts and the advice. I took your advice with the weapons. I actually had both a reborn wand of doom and a freezewand of doom so it didn't cost me anything more to combine them. I'm loving the 20% heal every turn :)

Thanks for the advice and for telling me about the frozen ocean curl. I will have to try it out some time, though currently it's a bit out of my price range :o For defense baguettes, would it be better to focus on blocking the same icon types as the weapon already blocks, or to try and get extra coverage with it?

got 2 wins but it looks like I've hit another road block for win 3. He's acting like a starts with a T and rhymes with paint again =P less than 3 hours left!

I would only use defense baguettes on a case basis. For example, when I first started taking on crawbeast, I needed to block more dark icons. My PBB already blocked 8 dark icons, so I modded it with two dark defense baguettes so it blocked 14 dark icons. The other two spots I left with parched baguettes. Parched baguettes I like to keep as a staple on all my weapons.

Working on BQs for Jonald as well as beating all the opponents I can that I haven't maxed out wins for yet :)

I feel I can almost beat the hustler if I have good enough weapons and strategy. It's so annoying when he steals my weapons though...

I'm not sure what tier you are but I was able to beat the hustler at T7. I would recommend using the truth serum against him to steal his own stuff and use it against him. Also parched baguettes only protect from freezing, blessing of natural armor (bona) protects against stealing. I would not recommend blasting against him since he has so many weapons to choose from. I would steal and go with a 100% and full blockers.

Habeebi - are you talking about unlocking hoarfrost? You find him in the polar ice fields then check under the event tab =x I finally gave up. Couldn't get win 4 unfortunately but I was at least able to beat him before he left.

Thank you. ^^ It was 1250 exp for Str, Def & Speed, 1500 exp for HP and 1000 exp for Lvl. Now it's respectively 3750 exp, 4500 exp and 3000 exp.

Congratulations on getting 3 wins! I'm really happy you were able to after so many disheartening losses.

I've been thinking about starting to boost defense with Jonald (it fits his character) - I was thinking that eventually I could use Blackmoons War Plate for the 7-9 block in all stats, and with a high defense I'd be difficult to hit. What do you think? Have any of you tried that kind of uneven build?

Thanks for the advice! I'm only at T6 (you can check out Jonald's stats if you like) so I may not be able to beat him quite yet. But I always try when he comes up in Battle quests anyway :)

Wow that is a lot of exp.

odd stat builds are fun to battle with, especially trying to push the limits and get wins earlier than the normal tier for an opponent. depending on what you wanna do though, it might be best to make a more balanced build first or simultaneously so you dont accidentally lock yourself out of beating an opponent (it's unlikely but certain builds will just have an incredibly hard time with certain opponents, even when they make other ones toooo easy).

That's a good point - I should probably not make it TOO uneven then, since he's my main battle pet. Cron is also T6, but I can't invest in both of them at once.

Does having a lower speed give you a disadvantage in battle at all? I'm wondering what would happen if I stopped investing in Jonald's speed. Would he still have a chance to freeze/steal, or would the chance be lowered? I'm not too sure how speed factors in to things like that.
