You Won! You have defeated Unstable Snow Fairy Verdugo earned 3500 EXP Points!
If I want to beat all the battle challengers this year I have to make sure I do them every day.
Hoarfrost seriously makes Rouland look like cake walk. I don't think I'm going to get a win in before he retires....
You Won! You have defeated Unstable Snow Fairy Kilroy___ earned 3500 EXP Points! Head back to the Battle Quest headquarters to finish up this quest! Because this was level 30 you earned 3500 experience!
Thanks :)
Good luck with your attempts at Hoarfrost. I don't know what stats you have or what weapons you are using, but all I can say is to just keep at it, your patience and persistence will eventually pay off.
I don't think I can with my set or stats. I think it's a mix of both that I lack. I've been getting close with sierrac flail and unstable syringe but just can't quite seal the deal. I have 5.5k health, 3.4k strength, 3.1k def and 3k speed about.
Oh. I hate to say it then but I think you're right, that looks to be too low. I was having a very hard time before I got my speed above 4.5k and I had around 5.8k in health and strength then.
It's the curses that are really killing me. When he disables my scrolls or forces me to just use one weapon is when he crit hits and kills me.
Yeah, that really is the killer. Hrm... if you could chain-freeze him long enough, in theory, you could pull it off depending on your damage output. I could loan you the few freezer scrolls that I have(1 Psycho Smasher, 3 Shrieks, 1 The Void. That's 61 Alchemy Points just for the first four, or 111 with Void) if you think that could make the difference in getting a strong chain off? I'd assume you have the three healers on your set (Revival of the Lion, Phoenix Quill, Amulet of Drakkonis), though Core of the Island can also net a 40% heal if you have upwards of 2500 Int. Do you have a full-block(I can also lend you an Amulet of Neutrality) for when he limits you to one weapon?
I think that may help. The only reason I do better with the flail is because it gives me a % chance freeze.
My set for him is the flail, syringe, reviver, pquill, soma, rblaster, mecha and energized helm. I do have full blockers, but I think the blasting is helping more than the full block since he has the chance then to not curse me or do very little damage.
I also have 135 AP to spend
Lot . I threw in the Gift of the Forj for the 1500 Heal if applicable. Good luck, that set isn't too far off of what I was using.
Thank you! I'll try like 10 more times before I call it quits haha
You're welcome :) Spend a day on it. I'm in no hurry, and if it isn't obvious, I'd also suggest spamming the dark (element) potions for a little extra damage and the Pylonics for additional boost/freeze/block options.
I just dunno if I can keep taking the losses. So tiring =/ I'm going to finish my BQs, dump a little more into strength and see if that gets me anywhere.
Oh, I understand that feeling quite well. I'm just at a better place to grit my teeth, swear at the monitor, and keep going all night until I see victory. I do think you stand a chance with what you have, so take a breather when you need to. Last-second boosting is a very viable option to try and cover your stat deficit against Hoarfrost.
I do have a ton of boosters I am saving up for T13, but I hardly think this guy is worth using them since the loot he drops is nothing crucial.
Fair enough, I don't really save mine back these days in favor of getting a little closer a little quicker. And to be honest I was a little disappointed by his loot since I've gotten used to weapons from challengers, but it does look good anyway in my wardrobe.
lol I do have a wardrobe addiction. Yeah I think it would just be better for me to save my tomes so I can use them when exp doubles in cost....or until the next challenger comes along I can't beat and has better loot. When is the next challenger release? The luchadors during survival?
Oh yeah, same here. The wardrobe is pretty much the only other thing I've tried to keep investing in regularly alongside battling, though I can't say my taste in putting stuff together has been the best. Speaking of which your current HA is nicely constructed! I'm a little worried for when the exp goes up again but at the rate I'm using boosters, I don't think it will make a difference. I'm looking at about 1.7k additional stats before Kilroy hits Tier 13 at long last so I'm kind of sprinting for the finish line haha. As far as the next challenger, I don't think Nacho Muerte or the dummies have been available since the plot with Skitters vs Ecks a couple survival's back? I'm hoping we do get a battle plot this year involving the undead.
Thank you! I've got a little circus theme going on today. I do want to beat all the challengers, but I'm in no hurry to rank. I also want to get my second pet high enough to take on nightlady so my main has to share battle quests until then so getting to T13 will take a while. Nah we had the luchadors come back last year during survival so unless they are just not doing survival at all this year, I think they'll come back again.
Ah, I can see that, yeah. I couldn't quite place my finger on the theme but now that you've mentioned it I'd assume macabre ringmaster? HA's that can rock an outfit without backdrops or foregrounds also have a nice distinguishing quality. Ah, you're running a second battle bet then. Twice the loot is a nice incentive. There was a time when I was trying to raise a few of my pets but in the end Kilroy took over and has since hogged all of the attention. I must have missed the luchadors then, I hope they make another appearance.
Yeah like a dark ringmaster type theme. I started with one theme and the it kinda morphed into this lol.
I have 6 pets I am training up. I wanted to experiment with different builds and see how it effects battles with different weapons. My second pet is the only one at the moment though that could be in range to beat nightlady this year if I give him some priority.
