You can fight him with any infinite weapons from the Weapon Warehouse shop since he doesn't fight back. You might get some of them from quests, so just make sure they have Infinite Use in their description page (not the pop-up box on hover). However, since those deal small amount of damage, the fight will take some time considering Abox's health. If you want to do it quickly, I'd suggest buying weapons that deal at least 15 icons each. The more icons they deal the better.
Made it through Level 24 Battle Quests so far today - Wrymgear, Mornrise Serpent, Cursed Effigy and Mornrise Serpent. Now looking at Raging Storm Sylph for Level 25. Haven't ever gotten this far before so guess I'll give it a try later on when I get some more time. To be continued ...
- probably not a battle croc since I need to save my sP for weapons and scrolls, although I was seriously thinking that would be fun! :-) Besides, I just bought a Blessed Trident so my battle fund is close to empty for now.
Congratulations on your TBT wins with all your pets. I'm sure your little ones were pleased to get the attention. :-)
- nice EXP boost. Hope your BQs go well later. Maybe I'll join you when I come back for that sylph.
- no such thing as a silly question - how else do we learn anything? As said, there's no trick at all to beating Aboxalypse except for doing all that repetitive clicking. He never does any damage to you so you are guaranteed to win (if you don't run out of weapons), it's just a question of how long it will take to finish him off. If you happen to have any attack scrolls that your pet can use, that would help as well. Good Luck.
Congrats! I've done about 7-8 pets myself, but still have a few more to go... lol Loving the exp for the littles though -- that's how they grow up to be big and strong! :)
EDIT:
SPOILER (click to toggle)
You'll notice Abox is a punching bag. The idea is that your pets can work out against him, so the battles will be really long. Since the battles take so long at low levels, I tend to wait until my pets are T3-4 before going for the loot. My lowest tiered pets start off against the other easy foes like buttwings. He is a good, easy way to see how various weapons fare against foes so in that sense he is very helpful in picking out some good default weapons.
The challengers are listed in alphabetical order by level of difficulty ~ NOT strictly by how hard they are to beat. In other words, each time the alphabet starts over > you've moved up in level of toughness. Like from easy to medium, medium to hard, and so on. WITHIN each level, challengers are listed in alphabetical order -- NOT by how hard they are. So all easy challengers are listed in alphabetical order, followed by all medium challengers in alpha order, etc. But there is a range of difficulty within each tier, so the first challenger is usually not the easiest. For the normal easy foes, you may want to save Abox and Eclipse for last.
Good Luck! :)

Quentin graced me with 4 amulets... will just vault them.

This is something interesting that I noticed when I was fighting with the coin and the snake: all of my T3 pets who are evenly trained or have neglected defence or speed were subjected to crits on a frequent basis, but my pet Archi who's trained evenly in everything and whose speed I neglect hardly got crits from both opponents. I've just done a test with Cursed Irion, and this is what I've got with Archi: Irion's speed (400) is more than four times as high as Archi's (95), while his attack and defence (150/150) are aprox. one third of Archi's (430). Out of 10 battles, each lasting about 10 turns or more, the Irion didn't manage to crit Archi a single time. Archi was the one who landed crits (>10 times) during all those > 100 turns. I'll be testing with other opponents with higher speed but whose attack is much lower than Archi's defence. This is not to dis the importance of speed, since I'm training speed for both my main and second and third pets. Rather something I remember and you discussed many pages back. I thought it's kind of interesting and I'm curious as to how high a pet's defence is compared to its opponent's attack for crit frequency from the opponent to be affected. Looks like defence does have some role to play in deciding crits, so I ping here too. [edit] Or maybe Easier opponents are not as complex as harder ones? I guess I'll keep training Archi and test with harder opponents as he grows.
[edit]
More testing (pending)
2. Against Mephysto
Mephysto's stats:
STRENGTH 200 (vs. Archi's 430)
DEFENSE 275 (vs Archi's 430)
SPEED 500 (vs Archi's 95)
No crits from both.
3. Against Manticat Manticat's stats: STRENGTH 225 (vs Archi's 430) DEFENSE 100 (vs Archi's 430) SPEED 250 (vs Archi's 95)
10 battles, approx. 50 turns total. 6 crits from Archi, none from Manticat.
Thank you !! without you I never could have beat him or the other very hard dudes!
Yay congrats!
And yes, definitely keep the blaster it can be really helpful! :)
Thank you two! Now I can't wait till tomorrow. I need more battlequests! aaaah I spend 15m for oppenents in the Millionaire center, but it's not enough. I wanna fight! And destroy some of those bitches!

& everyone Go take a peak at the Item Directory XD I'm so excited!!
Battling gets pretty fun when you can actually beat more opponents! Glad you're excited to keep fighting :)
Yes, I got pinged from another group too and I'm so excited! Everything looks lovely! :)
Looks like I've got lots of Vesnali coins to earn this year :D The items are really nice. I'm wondering if Cranky Carrot will be back too. I miss its sass XD.
Lol I'd like to see the carrot come back, and maybe some new opponents too!
I already have some coins saved up, but I need to look back through previous years and see if I missed anything because I know I probably need some of the old wearables still.
Yeah I've got tons of wearables from previous years to buy. I've neglected that wardrobe achievement for too long XD.
Uhhh, spent the last hour or so catching up regular opponents with my T5 whom I've been neglecting so far. Those were some uneventful 150 battles. And now by inventory is full of junk :)
(Oh lords I'm going to need a lot of vesnali coins this year...)
Do you happen to remember whether they release Vesnali items in different waves? I'm so tempted to WL them all but I'm just afraid I would mix things up if I happen to buy things before the second wave come out.
Yeah, I've been focus more on collection items until the past year or so, but now I'm working on wearables as well.
And I think it depends, some years there are two waves and sometimes only one. They should say in the news post if there's going to be a second wave.
