Sounds like it has potential :D If you like over the top poke fun at movies there's "Down with Love" if I remember the title correctly. There are a few nice twists near the end as well.

Psycho Smasher is a very much coveted and widely used (by those lucky enough to have them) freezer. It has a 75% chance to freeze and is currently unbuyable in user shops. (Just be aware it also has a negative 3% heal.) This scroll is regularly recommended in the Battle Chat thread (and if you don't find it useful, I'm not sure I can afford it, but please talk with me before you otherwise dispose of it - personally, I'd recommend you keep it since it's very hard to replace).

- the landlord (I assume you mean the old one) can avoid his lawyer all he wants, that doesn't keep him from having an obligation to you. I'm reasonably sure a good lawyer (yours) will not have any trouble dealing with that or other stalling tactics. (I'm sure they will have seen them all.)

The movie was a nice distraction. I still haven't found the "right" spot for it not to annoy my neck/head. That just means I'll have to try more spots with more movies :P

The old landlord is a royal pain, due to a stupid forget of one word there is a debate of whether it was due the 1st of the month or the landlord has 1 month to pay up. Until the "month" is over, there's less we can do legally x.x That doesn't stop interest from accumulating with my credit card. It's a complicated mess, to say the least.

I finally filled out the claim form regarding the bus driver incident. The form can be filled out electronically but then doesn't save and is a royal pain to deal with. I had to screen capture the parts, sign electronically (pain just to achieve that), and manage to send it by email as well as the photos I took of the cart. So much paperwork and such a pain just because a bus driver behaved improperly x.x As the saying goes, when it rains it pours. I could sure use a rainbow right about now.

New landlord called, both the husband and wife came up... wife supervises while the hubby fixes :) Got the faucet replaced so I should be able to wash with hot water now, yay. I also got the doors installed so it's a bit quieter when I do a load. The door for the dryer rubs against but I managed to reduce the issue. Haven't had a nap today and I'm exhausted... Gismo is tucked in beside me trying to sleep, too cute :)

Sorry to hear about your old landlord. To think everything was settled. Hang in there! The knocking bit is amusing, there had been several occasions where I had visitors not know how to use the door knocker so they just end up faintly pawing at the door. The sound just gets muffled from outside noise or noisy neighbors doing who knows what in their apartment.

Cranky meow is going to get something in my stomach.

It was the Troll thread on the battle forum. I figured most people had given up on him. I pretty much have. I don't think he drops anything I really need/want anyway lol.

Ah. He drops , and . I was very involved in a group working against the troll when he first came out, so I try to respond to questions and offer support if anyone is interested in working against him now. But, so far, as I said above, nothing I know about has progressed to actual testing and new wins.

yeah I am just kinda lazy sometimes lol. I would not really want to have to keep changing around weapons (and buying new ones) and keep trying every weapon just to see if it does something :(

- that's why it takes a group and a good leader. Once everyone has a set of weapons, it's pretty fast (or at least it was with the old interface - haven't tried with the new one) to just click eight weapons, try each set of two (so four turns), then forfeit, pick eight new weapons, repeat until your test set was done. With a few links in the notepad on the sidebar and weapons assigned in alphabetical groups (so they're all clustered for easier testing) it really was easy to do the testing. And, of course, once people had their test set, no one needed to buy anything unless a winning weapon was found. The time was organizing, teaching people how to share the wins, making sure all the weapons were tested (or close enough to reliably find winners) - admin sort of stuff. And people were truly amazing about buying and sharing any expensive weapons - or donating to the group bank. Total strangers were sharing expensive weapons on the fly with no requests for collateral - and I'm happy to note they were all returned promptly as well. It was a great experience, but I just don't have the time right now to do it all again for a new group. (sigh)

Long day but worthwhile. Someone that gives moral support came today to visit me :) Normally I would have needed to go to the old neighbourhood; but, she needed to come in the area so we organized a visit.

She's impressed with the apartment & considering she saw the old one it's good feedback I needed to hear. With all the chaos it's easy to forget why I moved. Even though the place is smaller it's of better quality.

I gave her a tour of the neighbourhood and she got us some hot dogs. We got water bottles at a corner store across the restaurant since they sold them the same price as the hot dogs :o

In other news, the old landlord called early evening. I had been advised to not talk to him by my lawyer... but he called. Then he called a minute later leaving a message. I had just enough time to listen to the message... 3 min and he calls a THIRD time. In the message he said he had my checks, so the 3rd time I picked up... put him on speaker and held a recorder beside.

He wants to give me the checks without going through the lawyers. Although I objected at first, I called my father for advice. Although the landlord might not give the right amounts and he might try to cause more probs seeing me, if I don't get some money I'll be owing high-interest starting the 16th and tomorrow is the 15th. He wanted me to pick them up at the main office, which is nowhere near me, but he'll be in my region tomorrow so we agreed he'll come to my door and give them to me. I'll have my recorder hidden at my side and if the amounts are wrong I'll let the lawyer deal with that. Some money is better than what I have now and the credit card won't wait. :S

I managed to put window film that looks like stained glass on one of my french doors. That took most of my day lol. It's not perfect, but it's acceptable... only someone as eagle eyed as me would spot the issues :P I'll have to get 2 more panels for the other door... waiting for the check to shop.

Right now I don't have time to deal with the troll, but I do plan on eventually trying to tackle him.

I wouldn't be surprised if I'm in the same boat when I do get the one I want... it's pretty but it's less obvious that it's a knocker.

Cat pic made me smile... Gismo tends to be more around my legs and trying to lead me to the food bowl. I'm more the pictured cat but have to fend for myself, well these days. I do like to cook special meals in an organized kitchen. Right now the countertop is a massive mess of tools and it's so hot that I don't feel like cooking. Then there's having to do the dishes x.x I used to enjoy making meals in the oven, this kitchen is badly set up where you have to be on the side of the door since there's no space to be in front. I'll get used to it but it's cumbersome.

I'm supposed to have a doorbell, but for some odd reason, there's no place to ring lol. I have an intercom that most people use even though the building's front door is unlocked. There are 4 buttons but nothing was indicated. I wrote on a piece of paper my street number for my button as well as on my apart door. At least people know how to reach my number.

Yeah it sounds like it is really time consuming :(
