( OOC more roleplaying sounds great, friends or foes...I had a lot of fun)

() Garrett happily accepted his punishment, and walked out of the Great Hall with his sweetie on his arm. As they walked to the Slytherin Common room, he was already thinking about that shower, and his change of costume. He knew the perfect person to go as, even though he doubted anyone would recognize him. He gave Fable a small, gentle kiss before they went inside, and then said "meet you in the common room when you are done..?"

( This is what I call good enough...sighs so complicated....for something so simple. and I like role playing with the lot of you as well :D which Im sure you gathered.)

Two hours later (sarcastically ooc), she comes out looking grumpy "Oooooo Joe...well I look all wrong....should go and try to change again...."

"Joe" quickly grabs her by the arm "no no no...you look wonderful ! C'mere," he said, pulled her close and kissed her passionately on the lips.... "now I am finally ready to head back to the Hall "

she smiles and kisses back "I want dino shaped nuggets....I want to bite off there heads and drown them in mustard....can you at least tell what I am now???"

Garrett takes her by the hand and starts walking back to the Great Hall with her. " Of course I can, you are an angsty teen, " he joked. " And we shall get you your shaped food when we get up there. I am getting hungry too."

"I dont know why I like shaped food...it just tastes different..."

" yes it does, " Garrett replied, " which is why I don't care for it. Ah, here we are !" Garrett opened the door for Fable, and followed her inside, back to the festivities in the Great Hall.

walks in "I never did get to drink my cider..."

( ) Garrett laughed " you didn't...? I did, it was wonderful. How about you go get us a place to sit, and I will bring over some more hot cider, then get us some food, hmmm...?"

she looks suspiciously at Garrett, but shes not sure if its just the outfit that is making her wary of him "O...k...is this going to end better then last time?"

() Garrett laughed, and gave her a reassuring smile "Of course it's going to end better than last time, do you even see him around...? I didn't look, I was trying to be a better date than last time. Now, don't you fret, I will be back with our refreshments shortly." Garrett walked away, heading toward the table, his eyes subtly taking in all the people attending. He would have to be more careful, lest his beloved start to think he was a monster. Garrett smiled at that thought, and a wicked look came into his eyes. 'I am no monster....no, not me.'

smiles "Alright...I will go find a spot..." she watched him walk away, she still wasnt feeling great but at least she was a bit more comfortable.

() Garrett's trips to the refreshment tables were uneventful, and soon both of them were able to sit and enjoy some food and drink. Garrett had opted to try the green bubbling beverage after seeing a few people earlier drinking some, and it wasn't too bad. He was surprised that he was as hungry as he was for real food, and even more surprised to find out how hungry he was for Fable's company, for the two of them to just sit and talk casually.

() She smiled when he came back "Hey you...thank you...How are you doing compared to earlier?"

() " You are very welcome," Garrett said, sitting down. " I am doing pretty well. I think the shower and change of clothes helped as well...although I do admit I was drinking pretty heavily waiting for you to come out with your new costume on. So I am very full, and generally, that equals good mood. How about you..? Are you...starting to enjoy our big event..? I saw the pumpkin carving/decorating station..nicely done, of course, but I am not interested..unless you want to. " He gave her a 'please no' look, then smiled.

() "Im sorry I took so long...but Im glad your full...I havent been feeling the best...havent been sleeping well again." sighs "I will deal witht he pumpkin alone...you dont have to..there is so much going on though so its a bit overwhelming." gives him a tired smile

() Garrett looked concerned. " I am so sorry..I know it doesn't make you feel any better, but I haven't been sleeping so well, either. There is just so much going on lately, I don't seem to be able to get my head above water for too long, and sleep becomes a luxury. " He patted her hand comfortingly. " I know that I have been...difficult lately, as well. Tonight was a prime example. But, I will do what I can to make things better for you, for us. I promise." There was sincerity in his voice, and at that moment, he truly meant he would try.

() "You arent as bad as you think...I just dont want something bad to happen to you...and Im sorry your not sleeping well." she leaned in against his shoulder "It will get better...I know it will."

() " nothing bad is going to happen to me....why would you think that..? because I almost got into a fight with a were-wolf..? Pffft, even his claws wouldn't have damaged my good looks, " Garrett said

() "No..I worry because even though we are in a progressive society there are always going to be those people who would rather see both your kind behind bars or "taken care of" rather then to take the time to understand you and what either of you are going through." pets his cheek
