I don't know if this will help you but I find it very useful to try and keep my biggest number in a corner, and never let it leave there. I use the top-right but you can pick any corner and this should work.

How would i be able to do that? I checked Google, and one of the tips said the same thing, but sometimes when I move the tiles the highest one leaves the corner, and a few times its gotten 'filled' and i cant get it back there

I'm gonna use my top-right as an example so I can say actual direction (up/down/left/right) instead of being hella vague and confusing myself.
So say you've picked the top-right as your number corner. Keep pushing your twos and fours up and right until you have a 16 (stone pillars) or a 32 (wood block) in that corner. Once you have that number there, NEVER move left or down unless you have no other choice. (Try and fill the top row all the way so that you can move left if you need to without giving up that corner.) If your big number does get separated from the wall, try and move the numbers (right and up, right and up) so that you get a matching one in the corner, then move right into it so you can get back in that corner.
Does that help?

Is there anybody else who wonders why the Pirates of Omen have been mysteriously absent from this plot? Does anybody else suspect that they might have some claim to the supposed mysteries of the tomb? We have been wondering what might be behind the gold door, and also who has been lighting all the braziers, and who sent the map in the first place. Could it be the Pirates?

Furthermore, Where the heck is Shinwa in all this? I have come to really distrust her more and more. Didn't she cause the destruction of her own world? And why did she dump Merana in the sea and just leave her to her own devices without actually doing her job of keeping the sea witch in check? She showed up after Amy was murdered and gave a very weak excuse for not getting involved six years ago. She really is a very lame and distrustful demigod. Isn't there some way to break this curse that has essentially wiped out the population of the Islanders either by attrition or sacrifice? Matlal talks of a curse, I believe that the real curse is Shinwa.

The more Matlal and Matzel talk, the more tragic and hopeless their situation becomes. I honestly think that the citizens of Subeta need to rise up against Shinwa and hold her accountable or make her leave. Perhaps the Mage and the Oracle can help.

Just adding my $0.02: it's definitely most effective to avoid pressing a single button when at all possible. In my games I avoid pressing "up" unless it's the only available move.

There's still a significant amount of randomness involved, so don't get discouraged if you fail the first few times!

Yes!! I finally manage to solve the puzzle! Took me a bunch of retries, but I like those kinds of puzzle. ^^ (better than the first one)

But omg the plot is heavy tonight...

I think it seems to be helping? I have a 256, with a 128 right below it (using the op right corner like you did so its a bit easier for me to 'visualize'). I think Ive gotte closer now than I was most of the other times. crosses fingers and legs for reasons

After I saw a post someone made a few pages (or maybe more than a few pages) back I realized what game it was, so I knew how to play it, but I dont think I ever finished a game. Still played it though. ^^

EDIT I DID IT! <3 Pretty sure without your idea/s, I wouldn't have gotten it as easily this time around. Took me...3 tries using the 'corner' :D

This one is a bit shorter. Comes out there's an achievement to reach 2048; you don't have to reach so high up. If you're trying for 2048, I find it's more luck after a certain point. When you've got two free spaces and a 2 or 4 possible, it's mostly luck (imo) to which way you move.

No, opposite of that I think. I think if you get up to a highish level with one pet you will get the most unique prizes (like last time this happened I got maybe 9 out of 14 prizes (just an example, I don't remember exactly) ...battlers who got in more damage got prizes 10-14 in addition, which I didn't get), but I think you can get some of those prizes in duplicate if you battle some with other pets. So I def am going to battle my main pet the most, but I will try to include some other pets for some duplicate prizes. I don't know if that is the best strategy or not, it is just what I will probably do.

Edit: Actually I just re-read the blurb in the news and I will make sure to battle with a tier 8 pet and my tier 12 pet, as they say the prizes are different in the two tiers. So actually similar to what I said before, but instead of shooting for duplicates with my lower level pets I will shoot for some of the other prizes that my tier 12 pet won't be eligible for. I hope I haven't confused things too much x_X

Can someone please explain the battle part to me? I am still confused about it. If I have a pet that does 1,000 damage to the boss and I battle the boss 5 times, does it count as 5,000 or 1,000? Do the points add up?

I am pretty sure that it is additive for each pet. But if you do 1000 damage with 5 different pets it would still only count for 1000 damage. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong!

From what I did understand from the post, if you have 5 pets you battle with, Tiers 1, 4, 7 and 11, and all are the best in their tier, only the 7 and 11 one will 'win', since they're the highest tiered ones in the two groups (1-8 and 9-13, or whatever the highest tier is).

I think I'll try and check out a few posts by other peoples when they are up for battle trying to figure out which of my pets would be the best to use. Onloy one is really 'battle ready', but if I can I'll use one of my slightly trained T1 pets. Thank God I got CSC a few times from the Bathhouse so I can auto-train them. Bad thing is I sold off about 98% of my T3 and lower weapons XD

I would suggest superglue/gorilla glue, but that could get in your eyes and would not be a fun thing 9though I imagine some people might /like/ something like that...o-o XD
