Well the plan is not to do anything else until I cracked it. But then I am not the person who can do such a thing for hours.

Unlocked A Bad Omen: 2048! Complete the Bad Omen 2048 puzzle.

Oh I am so dumb I had not realised that there was a check puzzle clicky at the bottom so I got to the number I needed but kept going thinking it would come up at the end and of course it didnt.... thankfully I left it on the screen where it said try again and when I went back having read this it let me hit the check puzzle button so I got the key ...phew! thanks everyone I would have never known without you lot :)

That puzzle was driving me insane! Took me about 1 hour to solve it.

But that plot... it's getting more and more intense and bitter. =/

Friendly reminder that the first boss battle should be starting tonight around the same time as the next puzzle (or maybe the battle is the "puzzle").

If you want to participate, make sure that your battle pets are fed and happy, and get your weapon/scroll sets ready.

The news post has more info regarding the upcoming battles and prize distribution for this component.

P.S. You likely won't have to battle in order to move on with the rest of the event. You'll just miss out on the prizes for this part if you don't participate.
