I realized after a couple of tries that it was better not touching the up arrow key, it would just create a new row at the bottom and move my numbered tiles higher and practically impossible to match to create the 512.

hint to solution

Use the up, right, down, left arrows on your keyboard. When you do, the tiles will move and new tiles will drop in place. When two similar tiles slide into each other they clear. Eventually numbered tiles will drop into place. When they slide into each other, they add up. Just keep sliding tiles together, eventually the numbered tiles will add up to 512. Check the puzzle then.

: Yeah, my fiancé says the best thing to do is to try to keep your highest-point square in the lower right corner and create "fodder" on top of it to eventually be able to feed it. So he didn't really use the up arrow either.

As for the game, I did up, right, up, right....until I couldn't any more. Then I went down once and then back to up, right, etc. I kinda like the game. :)

You should automatically go to the temple at the main plot page. If you see the campfire and you've talked to everyone with a yellow ! above their heads, then you're caught up with the plot.

ngl I know I probably gave up a lot hitting 'skip' but I just could not - I worked at the game for three hours and didn't get higher than 248 or whatever the 200 one is. I tried every trick the internet offered. I hope any puzzle related prizes aren't gonna make me cry for this XD
