This is a super belated reply... But I have been meaning to tell you how much your last post made me laugh! Your telling of the origin of St. Patrick's day is hilarious! And you made me smile when you mentioned the squishy linux penguin, and I saw it in your HA! I had to show my partner cuz he loves penguins, and that one is sooo cute. I kind of need it, in fact... I see it's unlimited in a CW shop, I will have to get it some day. Wishlisted for now ^^

By the way, what do you mean about spring break being mental on TV lol? I don't watch TV, so I don't know. But it's a break from school, so it's just supposed to be a time to relax and all haha. He did get to relax, though we missed each other a lot the whole time. He came home yesterday and immediately started hugging me so tight, saying how much he missed me... :) It was really nice, I was all alone for the whole week and doing pretty badly tbh, so it was nice to have him back.

I should make him join PinkBuns... if you guys can stand us, maybe it's better if he's not here :P

Well on TV over here... they like to kinda show the US as a kinda... crazy obese country basically XD! So on spring break shows its like "girls gone wild" and theres huge beach parties and tons of drinking and a lot of censored stuff XD! But that sounds a lot more realisitc and chilled :D!

Lol, that's pretty funny about the TV shows... Maybe it is more like that at more laid-back colleges? Well, not as wild, but I bet some people spend spring break having more fun, being more active, etc. But the kind of culture I've been exposed to in university, everybody is so stressed out from academics all the time, spring break is when we finally have a chance to catch up on sleep :P

Yes, I did! Coding problems can be frustrating, but you just have to keep being persistent until you figure it out. It's what I'm paid to do. :)

We've been together for almost 7 months now! It'll be 7 months on the 28th, so in about a week. It doesn't feel like it's been that long at all. I love talking about him (he makes me so happy!) so really do not get me started! I'll never stop!

And.. I've talked to him about joining PinkBuns, but he says he doesn't want to because he's really not interested in making HAs. He just doesn't think it's that fun, unlike how I'm obsessed with it lol. I think he's under the impression that he wouldn't be allowed to be here or something? Maybe I could still get him to join just to make some friends though? Also, he really likes seeing the HAs I make for the daily challenge. He'd be able to at least look at a lot of cool HAs if he joined.

Yeah, maybe the crazy spring breaks happen down in some of the big vacation spots, like Cancun, Miami, that sort of thing, but I think in most college towns, spring break is pretty quiet... My actual college was usually a ghost town during spring break. Most of the students went back home to visit their family, or they stayed on campus and relaxed (much more calmly!). I mean, we had one dorm that was famous for the presence of alcohol and such, but still, nothing like in the movies and such... Not even proper keggers. :O

Congrats on your seven months, Bug! That's exciting! And it's nice that he plays subeta at all... I introduced my hubby, and he came on like once, maybe twice... Really not interested. Oh well, I think I probably got a referral point from it, at least... :/

Well, he's not that into it lol. There are some things here he genuinely seems to enjoy though. He seemed to enjoy Survival a lot, he was checking the infections progress thread a lot, and he got 3 infections himself :) He also liked collecting skins during Morostide (like, he would regularly visit the zapper). It's odd cuz he doesn't like making HAs that much, but he likes looking at them, I think? He really didn't care for Luminaire, but that could just be because he has no friends here LOL

He tried to start a gallery of platonic solids but got upset cuz he couldn't find enough of them on Subeta that weren't cubes... What a nerd :P

He also does casually take care of his pet (who we nicknamed Braiden - its actual name is Braided Monoidal Category). He potioned it reborn, fed it some burnt foods (he thought that was fitting) and got it a job at Clothing Rack! He also asked me to help him find textbooks for his pet to read LOL he is quite something...

The big beaches in Florida get really crazy during spring break. Like, Daytona Beach is filled with crazy party goers (mostly from out of state)... The "girls gone wild" image is pretty accurate.

I've mainly been around older college goers (evening classes), so spring break really has no meaning to me except avoiding the beaches. This year, I had the flu the whole break. XD

My fiance joined and was kind of active for a bit. But, he lost interest, though he pops in once in a blue moon. I still force him to listen about Subeta stuff and show off avatars though. :P

it's just crazy isn't it? i work in a big city (glasgow) right in the city centre, so it makes me kind of nervous. though we have been evacuated for a bomb threat before, which came to nothing. but it's a bit terrifying so close to home. what makes me sad is that they drove into a bunch of french students, poor french! they cant get away from these attacks can they? makes me wonder if they knew they were french... :S

I understand how you feel! I live in Belfast which is the capital of Northern Ireland and what worries me is that we're so used to bomb threats etc that I worry we'll ignore it :(! It does scare me, I never actually thought it would reach the UK! But I had a feeling if they were going to target us they would target London! Im just kinda shocked they didnt do something worse but apparently there was a suspicious package outside Westminster so maybe were they planning on doing something worse ;-;

Those are terrible news! I'm so sick of all these attacks! Always the innocent pay while those behind what causes the attacks are fine and safe. I don't want violence in any way, I do not believe in revenge, and I don't believe violence is solved with violence. I just want peace and love. :(
