I'm working this weekend X) I had a cold the past two days, so I had to take off work. I'm trying to make it up now. I got up nice and early this morning and got straight to work. Currently stuck on a python problem though... and hoping my bestie wakes up soon so I can ask him about it :P

I don't follow holidays very much... And I know very little about St Patricks day, Pengy, would you care to educate me? :) I do enjoy drinking though (I try not to do it too often, haha, cuz I don't want it to become a problem for me) I have a little bit of vodka left in the house right now, might go out to get more when my partner comes back from spring break. He's coming back tomorrow, by the way. So that's exciting, I've missed him all week.

We are celebrating by drinking drinks from Ireland. Guinness Stout, with Some Bailey's Irish cream, and Jameson Irish Whiskey all mixed into one!!! lol

Ooh, that sounds like a fun time. Maybe my partner and I will look some up. We aren't Irish at all, but it seems to be a holiday that's celebrated in the states too for some reason.

I think it came over with the Irish when the potato famine kicked in. :) There were sooooo many Irish in New York and Boston, so the two cities took on some of their traditions, and those traditions eventually caught on and spread throughout the States. :O

Don't know much about the background of the holiday itself, though, since these days, it's basically just Irish Day. :O Leprechauns, wearing green, drinking loads, and lots about luck... :O

Hehe, well, maybe I should find some Irish drink to try. Maybe it will bring me some luck.

Maybe I should add some green to the HA I'm wearing too... just for the occasion :) I'll have to find something green and buggy. Like a caterpillar or something, hehe

- Homework and working on my user profile. If I have plans to go out somewhere fun, it's usually on the weekdays. Weekends are good days to hide in my room. c:

St Patrick was a guy from Wales who came to Ireland and chased out all the snakes (apparently haha!) and for some unbeknowst reason, everyone drinks on the 17th march to celebrate XD haha!

I have heard of Phython! I've seen computery jobs ask for people with experience with it :D! I hope you get the thingy sorted! I literally know nothing about computers! I have a squishly Linux penguin and thats the height of my knowledge haha!

You should be wearing green, yes! On the day of, if you're not wearing green, people will pinch you! :O I always forgot, and wound up creating something, such as a green paper bracelet or something like that. :O

Yeah, that's what I figure... And the plan I made makes one that is a slightly different shape, like 5 squares by 3, instead of the usual 2 x 3 or 2 x 4, so... Actually, ours will be quite big, so probably more like having two of the 40 frank boxes, so I guess it probably IS worth the money for supplies anyway... And then it'll be the perfect size for the place we want to keep it, too, so... yeah... :O

hey y'all! Just stopping by to say that I'm probably going to be MIA until mid may, because I just realized how much stuff needs to be done between now and then 😓 (uni is so stressful ;-; ) also who thought it was a good idea to put midterms right after spring break...

Aw, yikes. Yeah, that always stinks! Mid-terms, then loads of homework, because all of the teachers realize they're behind and have to rush, then it's finals already...

Good luck on all of your exams and classwork, and try not to stress TOO much! And be sure to treat yourself every once in awhile, especially when you get a particularly good mark!

Geez, television programming sucks these days. I'm switching back and forth between a cheesy sci-fi and MASH reruns.

- I haven't had cable in years. Netflix, streaming, and Youtube have been how I watch things. Do you have a service like Uverse or is basic cable?

I'm kind of surprised MASH is still around. I remember channel surfing and always seeing MASH.

I have Dish Network. These days MASH reruns are showing up on about three different networks. I run across it all the time.

- Ah, okay. I used to have Uverse, and I ended up watching National Geographic and other "educational" channels... And the occasional trash reality show. XD

I don't understand why any show is showing up on multiple channels. O.o I guess the selection of shows on satellite/cable has really declined over the last few years.

Well, MASH has been showing up on TVLand, SUND and I believe WGN. Which I'm actually quite glad about. I love re-watching it.
