Oh wow. It's really neat how us pinkbuns are from all over the world. It's great for me, because it means I have some people to chat with even though it's 5 AM here haha.

Yeah, Daniel wouldn't be much into making outfits for himself, either... He does like to look at mine, though, and sometimes I make him help, if I can't decide between two hair pieces, or two colored skirts or something...

:( I hate watching the news, becaue it is always so full of horrible stuff... But then I just have to remind myself, the world isn't getting worse, it's just that the bad stuff moves around, and we now we hear about all of it... The close stuff AND all of the far away stuff... I mean really, Western Europe and America have gone 72 years without experiencing real, truly devastating war. Yes, there have been smaller wars, but all distant, where the people back home don't really have to deal with any of it... And that's really good, historically... And honestly, terrorist attacks are terrible, but they're so much smaller than a war would be! I mean, it sounds like five people were killed? Compare that to WWII, when bombs were falling on London all of the time... I think we're still much better off than that!

But these days, we just hear about EVERything, everywhere, and it makes it seem so much worse!

Bad stuff has always been around, and it always will be. It sucks when it comes close to home, though. I think that's the biggest problem, actually... Our sense of "home" has grown so much.

In comparison to other countries in Western Europe, though, France has definitely been getting hit hard. :( One of my good friends lived in Paris and couldnn't work several days because of terrorist attacks within just blocks of where she lived and worked... :( In the end, she and her Parisian "hubby-who-isn't-a-hubby" wound up moving back to England, to where she's from. I'm sure they're not impressed to see the attacks spreading into their new country. :(

Initiations were strictly banned at our school, but we did have plenty of sororities and such. And some of them did throw parties, though not any on campus. But I think the one dorm had more parties than any of the sororities or fraternities, anyway. But I never heard of or saw anything like that crazy business around our campus. But then, the off-campus fraternities would have to watch out for the city police, and the on-campus ones would have to worry about the campus police, who were a proper police force, not glorified security guards, so I dunno if that had an effect... And our campus was technically a dry one (though tell that to the glass bottles in every parking lot). I guess there was a lot of drinking, just not the crazy club-style parties with everyone taking their shirts off. :O

Ooh! o: I've drawn 2 CW overlays (other artists did the CIs) and 1 CW entirely myself :D Though it was denied twice and I have to re-draw its CI xD The overlay is good though!

- My fiance thinks he found the perfect outfit, so he doesn't see the point of changing it. I've tried asking for his help with choosing parts for an outfit, but he always says "I have no idea". XD

Haha... Well, I do the whole eye doctor thing... You know, with the lenses? Which is better, lens one or lens two? And he can't escape until he picks one of the two options.. :P

Sooo I tried out SketchBook Express on iPad and I've got my first WIP going! I wanted to make a "waterfall" inspired dress and there's what I've started with. Any thoughts/pointers?

Wow, that is really nice so far! I think I'll be able to give some pointers once you have more of it done. I expect you'll be embellishing it more right? One thought I had was that, if it's waterfall inspired, you definitely want something on the dress to represent the frothy bubbles. Maybe towards the bottom?

I'm a bit jealous, actually... I wanna draw CWs too lol! Maybe I can just sketch concepts over an HA base for now... Digitizing them is not really possible at the moment, though.

BY THE WAY... I've been experiencing a really weird issue with my laptop lately, which is that all sorts of hardware malfunctions when it's charging! I had no clue what was the problem... But now I've finally narrowed it down, it's definitely the charger itself malfunctioning and causing electromagnetic interference to mess with the hardware and stuff. I realized the interference was happening when the laptop charging caused my lamp to go crazy (my lamp is really fancy and has a touch interface to control the brightness). I unplugged my laptop, and my lamp went back to normal... So yeah. Technology is fascinating XD

Well I started with a speckle foam and my ocean dress turned into sparkly/starry dress so fast! O.O Aaaand I'm stuck again. Embellishment around the neckline? I'm not sure what and don't want to drown it in speckles!

I love the little sash! So what I was thinking is, if you wanna take it more in an ocean direction (as opposed to waterfall), you could maybe add some ocean things around the neckline/top of the dress. For instance, some seaweed or starfish inspired embellishments. It might be cool to have green seaweed patterns trickling down the dress too.

It would be pretty cool if you could make the bottom of the dress end in bubbles, so it looks frothy (you know what I mean?)

The dress right now reminds me of the beach. The sparkles at the bottom actually remind me of grains of sand! So you could also take it in a beach direction, and add red/white stripes as embellishment (like on the top).

- That's a very pretty dress so far! Maybe the bottom part of the dress can be more foam like? It could look like the dress is made of water and the bottom is where the water crashes down. Have the dress become darker in color the higher it goes and leave the chest and neck areas a solid dark blue.

- Pffft, that's hilarious. XP I should do the same thing to my fiance. XD
