Your HA is lovely with that background combined with that fire-breathing dragon. I love it!

oh thank you! I am hiding my cucumber state! lol But of course I had to use dragons instead of my HA =D
Hehe, yeah, I don't blame you for hiding! Some of those stages are NOT attractive. But I always enjoying seeing really lovely HA-less HA's during Survival, too. :D

Oh wow, this chat has been very active the last few days! :D
- What is the kimono you're wearing? I love it. -
- Make a most wanted category! It helps out so much.
- Now that I've worked with the kitty ears I got, I like them better. I just tend to have a bad reaction to expensive gifts I don't see the use for immediately. I really appreciate the work and donations that went into the event, though things could have been done better.
You use the vases so well! :o I've tried using them and I failed.
- I can understand what you've been talking about. I do agree that people who are ingrained in the CW community had more of an advantage. Your feelings are valid and you shouldn't feel bad having them. c:
I would like some sort of event that was only available to people who had, say, 20 or less CWs. I think that an event like that would be less daunting to a lot of users since there would be more of an even playing field.
- Something I do to limit CW spending is I have a several wishlists and I constantly update them. If I add something to one wishlist (which I"m picky as to what I'll add for CWs), I sit on it for a few days. If I still want the item when I check back, I'll determine how much I want it. Only the ones I want the most are in my "most wanted" and I focus on those. Once I clear out "most wanted", I look in my "high priority" one and then determine which ones to move to "most wanted".
I avoid the forums when I have no CSC on hand because I don't want to find a CW I adore but can't get right away. I have a budget on how much money I spend every month and I stick to it. I have made the mistake of slotting for an item and then not having any CSC on hand, so I bought CSC out of my budget.
Another thing to do is if you buy CSC, wait until the Cash Shop bonus weekend. It starts on the third Friday in the month and runs throughout the weekend. Always worth it to wait for the extra CSC and free wearable.
I honestly think the stages are hideous! lol But I like the final result of this particular disease.
Aw, thanks. I really do love them!
Cherri and And yeah, I would have loved that 20 or less CW rule! :P I seem to be stuck at 11... But lately, with all of the beautiful Louis L'Amour items and having so many achievements that I'm trying to finish, I always seem to spend my sp before I manage to buy that 12th CW! :O I guess that just means I've got more time to keep an eye out and decide which one I really want next. :P

- You'll be more focused. :P
I have 18, though I've owned 30-40 total. I've pawned a lot of my CWs, because I was too unfocused and impulsive before. Now, I usually only get things I can use more than once. Kimonos are the exception because I love them, though I'm picky about those too.
Yeah, I actually have one CW that I'm not even sure where it came from... It's kind of pretty, but I can't exactly say I LOVE it... Maybe I liked it when I bought it, but now I'm not sure I'll even use it... So I dunno. But I have loads of stuff on my wishlist that I want a little bit. I should really sort ALL of them, CW or not... Maybe make a most wanted SubQ, one for CWs, and one for regular items...
Incidentally , I know some CW's can't be sold/traded because they are private or something... How can you find out which ones are like that? I know some on my list are, but I don't know which ones...

All I know is most sailor moon cws are private but that's all I know of
I really don't know, you can only ask the creator and that is hard to find too
Meh... Because I'd practically have to ask people to go through my entire wishlist, then... And that's not really fair. Well, I guess I'd only have to ask about the ones that aren't in any stores right now, but still... :/ Well, maybe I'll ask around about just a few of my favorites...

there's no list of privates cos they're not officially recognized with that status but you could probably go into the Custom Wear Identity Thread to get some help identifying what is or isn't private
Okay, thanks. That's something subeta should REALLY change. I mean, I find that silly. If Subeta doesn't recognize the status, it shouldn't exist. But if they are willing to host an item that can't be freely bought and sold, I'm sorry, they've already recognized it by having it, so they need to mark it. And frankly, it wouldn't be that hard. They could just change the star color or something... Give them purple stars instead of yellow, or something like that...

yeah they'd have to really overhaul the system to officially recognize privates but that also calls into question how they would handle public copies of privates! lot of people do them so, i don't know if there's really a way to address this, so as it is, the current system is the only system
- I think there's supposed to be a CW directory that would include if an item is private. I'm not sure what's the status on it though.
But yeah, I would love something, like a different star color, that indicates privates. Would save me a lot of broken dreams.
Yeah, I'm sure it wouldn't be super easy. But it was silly for them to set it up that way in the first place. They should never have allowed privates to exist without also recognizing them themselves and marking them. I'm sure it would be far more complicated now, but I think it's important. I see it as a really major flaw in the way subeta works. And I know, when CW's first came out, they never imagined how big of a deal they'd become, but still...
But considering some of the other changes they're making (like making it possible to sell CWs in the search), maybe they're going to work to integrate some of that stuff a bit better...

hey hon, seriously, no worries! you're totally allowed to vent! i know when i'm all worked up about something i just need to get it off my chest and once it's done the feelings are gone and it's like 'eh, whatever' i rly appreciate your level of consideration though. more evidence you're not a bad person, you just needed to get some stuff off your chest :D don't feel guilty! hugs i also think it's really important to get people's feedback about these kinds of things and it's good to gather all perspectives. we all have our own lens that we process our experiences through and sometimes it's just not that good an experience for one person versus others
omg i'm sorry you had that bad experiences re: the contest :( if there was a lot of confusion, then things should have been clearer and you shouldn't have been put in a situation where you felt attacked hugs
Aw, that's okay. :) I'll get over it soon enough. I just remember each time another event gets pinged for prizes. And soon they'll be finished awarding everything, and the whole thing will disappear into my review mirror. :O
And in the end, I'll have some positive things from it... I DO know more about CWs now, and I learned about the forum search, which I was unaware of... And so now I know better how to find my favorite designers, and find more items they've made, regardless of whose shop they might be sold in... And I know more about how the whole system works, in case I ever decide to try making and/or commissioning my own items, so that's good.
Before, I didn't know that most sellers are not necessarily the designers, or that designers can make real money off of all of this... And I have a bit more respect for the prices of CWs, knowing how much sellers pay to get them on the site. It ALMOST makes me willing to slot for a CW. Though I probably still won't, because frankly, I never hang onto my money long enough to do something like that! I'd always be getting in trouble for not being able to cover my slot. :O

- Yeah, in hindsight, it was silly to not officially recognize privates and now that CWs have grown as much as they do, staff has a lot of work to do. I really think it'll help with the CW experience if privates are marked somehow.
If it wasn't so pricey, I would commission and sell CWs or make them myself. I actually would try to make them, but I don't have a drawing tablet and drawing with a mouse wrecks havoc on my wrist after a bit. I have a bunch of ideas but no money. XD
