Oh, look, yet another post on Tumblr mocking Hanzo mains like me. How original. -_-;
Hanzo is great in the hands of a good player but terrible when badly played. Prove the doubters wrong. Being underestimated is also useful sometimes!
Yeah, Hanzo, Genji, and Widow are some of the most hated heroes just because a lot of people who aren't good with them will pick them (especially in QP....>:[ ) They're really focused on aiming, so not everyone can play them well. But like said, when those heroes are in good hands, they can totally carry games.
It bugs me to be honest how much people obsess about everyone playing the "right" heroes. Unless you're above diamond, you're likely limited by your skill, not the character.

The real question, though: IS HE VOICED BY TERRY CREWS
He's voiced by Sahr Ngaujah, but he sounds SOOO good. I think they had already had a voice actor planned for a Doomfist before Crews showed interest and Crews will go on to voice a new hero
I finally just watched it a couple minutes ago, and yeah, I gotta say that Ngaujah is awesome in the role. (Not that there was really any chance of the opposite; Overwatch's voice casting has been superb since the beginning.)
Terry Crews was just so vocal about being a part of the game that I was rooting for him, lol. Hopefully he'll get to do it sometime.
I admittedly haven't seen much of Doomfist, I caught a little bit of a stream and I saw his origin short. But Doomfist seems like he's a smart figure that demands respect, kinda cold and calculated. Exactly what you'd expect from one of the Talon leaders, and I think Ngaujah really nails his voice.
I'd like to see Terry in a role that's more over the top, where he's allowed to be kinda bombastic and fun. Kinda like how they picked Jonny Cruz for Lucio because they were so much alike. I don't doubt Terry coulda pulled off Doomfist, but when he's so amazing with that over the top energy I think he could fit in even better with someone else. I always have room in my heart for more characters...maybe a new defense character..? I don't think we've had one of those yet
Doomfists play style seems REALLY fun though, I'm glad they managed to pull him off since they've said melee characters are hard to balance.
That sounds about right. I wasn't sure what Doomfist's personality was going to be like previously, but now that we know he's a bit more "quietly menacing" than "Large Ham" I agree that Crews would be a better fit elsewhere.
I haven't actually looked into his playstyle yet (been busy working on other things almost all day because I'm having surgery tomorrow :x), but if it's what I think it is (ie, punching things a lot) I'm excited to try him out, lol.
I can't wait to kill the first one I can with Mercy's popgun just to see it
Summer games are starting this Tuesday, I'm looking forward to seeing the new map that comes along with it as well as the Junkrat and Mercy skin Jeff was so eager about in his last update
I haven't played Overwatch in a hot minute (with the exception of yesterday) but I plan on trying to get back into it for the summer event. I forgot that I don't have McCree's American skin yet and I'd love to have it. I'm also super curious to see what Mercy's new skin will be, since Jeff mentioned it being one of his favorite skins of all time. Very intrigued. Also love that the event-specific skins from last summer won't cost an arm and a leg in terms of credits to purchase.
I'm so excited for the Summer Games. It's the only event I've missed since the games release because I didn't have enough money to get it at the time. I want Zarya's skin so badly. It's the only one of hers that I really like.
So...how 'bout dem new skins? DYING. I wasn't expecting to really want any at all but they released so many new good ones. I legitimately can't handle how amazing Soldier's is, but WOW Mercy and Reaper's skins are so cool too!
I am super excited for the new Halloween skins and the ability to get some of the old ones since I did not play at the time... Q__Q
you guys havent done the event? You're going to love it! It is one off my favourites! And the new skins look amazing. c: Do you guys play on PC? maybe we can party up for it, or sometime in general!
