So I updated the new masterlist with all the info I had about member absences, most people just said a few weeks (this was 1-2 weeks ago).

We definitely do need to check who and how many people still need wins.

It might be difficult to maintain for new members in the long run because they won't be coming in droves. All I can think of is in the future we occasionally making a battle forum post/topic saying that we have the group for people wanting to fight the troll. That way the teamwork might work if mode people join at the same time.

When we start organized testing again, we need to get some wins for you.

- noticed that Pac posted on the public board asking to join us. Not sure how to respond. Of course we're open to new members, but how to explain the current hiatus? And do we have any idea if our new master list is close to correct? Maybe we'll need to add a few questions to the poll. Like who is still interested in this group and what weapon pages they are testing. We got sort of caught up there, but I think several people may no longer be active which means the list is not up to date until we figure that out again. I don't want to have one new user testing and then getting discouraged before the main working group is even back. Pac pinged Enyo, but you have a note saying he is not around for a bit. I'd like to respond to her tonight or tomorrow morning even if it's only to say we're on hold.

Also wanted to mention that Galaxia bought a Nailed Board and a couple of Sword Stone Molds for us which I have at the moment. The molds are stocking fairly often at under 9K so I also grabbed several, but the board has been the winning weapon at least twice and is selling for 500,000K right now. Just hoping that the Rodent Wailer (still selling for 500,000K) is never the winner again - that was SO ridiculous because it almost always breaks forever after a single hit. At least the Nailed Board stays around after you get it.

Noticed you mention that Kestrel is in the group but doesn't have a page assignment. She joined us on 4/25 after being offered and accepting Page 16 (her acceptance is in this post - Kestrel takes a test page and I remember adding her to the new master list, so she got lost somehow in moving data back and forth between the old and new lists. I will put her back with Page 16 for now. Don't know whether she signed the rules page and she has no post in the testing updates thread, so maybe she isn't really active. In any case, now she has a page assignment and she can either be left in or she can be removed and the assignment taken out also so things at least stay consistent.

I've updated on our current hiatus. Told her we're currently on break and plan to reconvene in a week or two when most people will have more free time. She seems fine with it, and is mostly just waiting for something to invite her to the group and get through the tutorial/acceptance thing. Ironically, she's actually free this week but busy the next few weeks, so assuming the group actually takes off again and is still running when she returns, she'll begin testing then.

We'll really only know if our master list is correct is if we do a headcount. A sort of "message me to prove you're still active" headcount. The poll sounds like a good idea though, it'd help to figure out how many members still need wins too.

I was actually thinking of the poll as a "message me" if you still want wins, so we could just add the part about are you still active to the same request. Something like message us if you are still active, what pages are you still willing to test and do you still need/want wins. Anything else we should be asking? That way, we can rebuild the master list from an empty copy and get an up to date one at least to start out again. I know that it is always going to be a moving target since people don't always let us know when they stop testing or leave.

I think a poll with activity, test pages, and if you need wins is an excellent idea. I know there's some sites that let you make such things, or we could just do it here. It'd also let us know who's even looking.

I'm gonna be pretty busy in about a week, until around the 25th, and won't be able to help much for that time. I know you said we should drop from the group if we're gone for more than a couple days, and then rejoin later. That still a thing?

Thanks for talking to Pac! I was talking with them but had to make an unplanned disappearance because of family things.

On Kestrel as far as I know, they did not sign the rules. They joined before the forum/group revamp so I'm thinking they're just ignoring/not paying attention to non-winning admin pings and/or is not testing. We can probably wait until we do the poll before removing non-active members? We can do a last chance ping at that time for the pending members too, if they don't respond then we remove them since it's been a long time already.

On the weapons expense problem, we can probably use the group fund to buy 1 of each non-breakable weapon (that's not too expensive, 500k is okay I think) for the more active admins to lend out? Again this can probably wait until after poll/when we're more active again.

I've been removing the people who have silently left the group so it should have been pretty up to date on that aspect 3-ish days ago. I'll probably sift through the list again later today.

For the poll I guess based on what was mentioned:

How many more wins do you need for your first set of 5 wins? Are you willing to stay in the group after 5 wins or will you leave afterwards? If you have 5 wins already, are you staying in the group to get more (still requires testing of weapons)? Are you still able to test? What pages are you testing, and do you want to test less/more pages?

Any other questions?

I think you can just put a note for you that you're busy until then. The couple days thing is if you're frequently gone without notice, or more than a week without notice.

That does sound like one way to do it, though it sounds like something we'd definitely have to split between admins to keep it from being too much work on one person. It's a more specific way of checking with our members, I do like that. Also, someone should go and actually assign a temporary page or something, it's been a few days and I think she's still waiting on a group invite? And thank youu <3

Maybe questions about their timezone and when they are most likely to be testing? ie. Between Noon and 3 pm , 3 pm and 6 pm, etc.

I like that idea, and others have already mentioned anything else I would add.

Also... sorry for being absent from the boards here. I've been testing when I can but I've had a pretty constant migraine this entire month of May here and my medicine for it makes me sleepy, plus the lorazepam for anxiety. And I have had a slew of appointments with doctors and everything and kinda just needed to take a break from consistently talking to anyone, even on here. I'm sorry for that. I wish I was normal but I'm just... not.

There haven't been any pings regarding winning weapons so there is definitely something we are missing, but what?

As far as I'm concerned there is no such thing as "normal" since all of us are different (and alike) in so many surprising ways. Please make taking care of yourself the top priority and let me know if there is anything I can do to help. Everyone has been busy with real life so that makes you just like the rest of us.

Not sure what (or if) we're missing. Kellijuana noticed some runs on random weapons in her shop and wondered if they could be because of the troll. All the ones she remembered fit our profile, so it's possible that we're don't have enough testing to find a winner. Of course, there was also the complete test done by a small group that one of our members participated in. They tested all the T1-T3 weapons in a period of an hour or two and didn't find a winner. They did include everything. (I think the posts are in our chat thread.) Thoughts/theories/guesses anyone?

Given that it's now the end of May and a holiday weekend, my guess is that we should try to do a poll next week and then restart group activity the week after that. Once we have serious work going on again, we should be able to tell better whether the T1-T3 testing is enough. I don't think we should try to expand before restarting since I don't know how many testers we will have participating or what they will be covering. - does that timing work for you? If so, you should probably make some sort of announcement to the admins and I'll get some sort of poll together for you all to look at.

One caveat - right now my laptop charger is broken. I have ordered a new one and expect it shortly, but you never know if it will be the right one until it arrives. The old one seems to be sort of working (sometimes :-) ) and there are a couple of other computers around that I can use at least some of the time so I'm hoping not to be disconnected completely.

Thank you. Sometimes I need to be reminded that I'm human, first and foremost. There's not really anything that can be done right now, but on Tuesday I have an appointment with my PCP and will ask for a referral to a neurologist, although this time it will be for my head lol.

It could be higher-tiered weapons or weapons we may not be considering, such as shards, pylonics, and potions. Or Genetech Combo weapons. IDK, I guess we'll have to wait to find out.
