Roger that. I'll take more breaks then; I just felt a little useless here lately so I've been doing my best to, well, do my best :)

<3 NEVER USELESS! <3 But me too lol I don't know why I keep roaring things at you in my head.... specialness XD
nods v_v I do all the wrong things :/ I tried to take a nap earlier but then I remembered I'm a stinkin grown up and got back up. I've been in one of those catch 22s lately where I'm so tired all day, until it's time for bed and I stay up too late, so then I'm so tired the next day. I can't decide if I should suck it up and stay awake and hope I'm tired at bedtime, or take a nap so I can do my day right today and hope it wears me out so I'm tired at bedtime.. I donno, I blame my shitty willpower, I'd probably sleep if I weren't on subeta at night LOL orz
Grown ups are allowed naps! I know I take them haha
But usually it's better to just not nap, it messes up with your circadian rhythm and sleep even more :c
Who needs sleep when you have subeta!? I do, but it doesn't stop me from staying on until late/early night/morning u.u
Sounds just like me! hehe Grown ups NEED naps, we set society up wrong here, there should definitely be nap time... lol By 'I remembered I'm a grown up' I meant, I had stuff I had to get done so no time for a nap. stupid grownupness v_v
I always say we should have private nap rooms on my university campus :/ so many students just sleep in chairs in the library...
Yes well when grown up duties call, you must answer :c Or at least you should :P
Would just like to let you guys know that I've received an anonymous comment about trolling pings being not related to the group. When the group is busy people don't mind as much but I think since it's quiet, people get excited when they receive a ping and it's not a win/group ping.
Hope you guys have been enjoying the lull in activity and had a good Vesnali!
Yes, I had noticed that I was being pinged for TS restocking from the group. I think someone is just trying to be helpful, though I must admit I personally do not find it helpful--rather, I feel a bit annoyed.

- sorry to hear that. Probably because I pinged the group for the Token Shop restock. In my opinion I wouldn't worry too much about one comment. While group pings should mostly relate to the group, there are a few special things that almost everyone wants to know about (Token Shop being one of them, or the 1 week gold account newsletter link). Have seen several thanks for the ping posts the few times I've done that. Also you can see in the ping notice right away whether it is a winning weapon, as it says what forum you are being pinged to. I've checked in several times just to look and have seen almost no group activity anywhere right now, so I can understand someone really hoping to hear about a new winning weapon find. It's always a balance between getting someone excited and having other group members miss out on something special. I am currently planning to ping trolling for any of the three Token Shop restocks I manage to notice, but I won't do that if you and the other admins think it better not to. As I said, so far, the reaction has been almost all positive.
I know the pings definitely help me haha I always forget to check for TS restocks and didn't check my email so I didn't know about the 1 week GA. I guess we'll see what admin consensus is?
We've received 1 negative against a few positive responses so it's more positive than negative. A large part is probably that we're inactive right now as members wind down from vesnali or are still writing finals.
...reminder to self to get back to testing >.<
- yes, that's pretty much the response I mostly hear. By the way, there is actually a group just for Token Shop restocks - you can join it here Token Shop RS . But I've found so many users who don't know about it, or have private groups that don't always catch the restock, that I've just made it a habit to ping all four of my groups whenever it stocks.
- sorry you found it annoying. I'll take that as one more vote for no.
I only found it to be slightly annoying, so I wouldn't really say it's a negative. If other people appreciate the pings, that's fine--I just spend a lot of time on here so I stay pretty up-to-date, and I found the pings personally redundant, but I don't really mind. They aren't every day events either and it's not a big deal or anything for me, that's all :)

- thanks for the clarification. I try to stay up-to-date as well. And my first choice is always to tell someone about the official group, but when there's a whole new big group like this, it's just easier to ping so no one gets missed. It's usually the newer or less active users that need them and they can be the hardest to find other ways.
The pings for non-troll stuff like Token Shop restocks do get redundant if you're a member of one of the TSRestock groups, but our group seems like a mix between relatively new members and veterans, so it's not really a big deal. I don't really see a point to it, but at the same time, if you see the ping for a non-Trolling thread, then it's pretty obvious it's not a win ping and Token Restocks are more helpful then not. So whatever the majority wants, which seems to be in favor at the current moment.
Yup, I figured new people and less-active people appreciate those pings more than not, and I'm not opposed to helping others; that's why I said I personally found it a bit redundant/annoying/whatever, but I know others are thankful for it so I'm not raising a big stink over it or anything ^_^

- thank you for the feedback. It's always good to get other points of view. Especially when you're trying to be helpful to people you don't know well.
By the way, I've heard at least two admins mention that they still need more wins and are hoping that this group gets more active again after this hiatus. I am more than willing to keep working on this if people are still interested so sounds like we should be checking our status and encouraging people to start more serious testing sometime soon. Thoughts anyone?
I'm willing to help out still, but I'm still in the midst of finals and then will be in the process of moving out of the dorm, so I'll need at least the rest of the week before I can return to testing seriously. Should we try and pick a set date when we try and encourage everyone to pick back up with testing?
We should also probably try and figure out who still needs wins. I think most of the group has gotten their wins? But that's a guess at best.
I'm one of the people that would like more wins. I have no objection to other pings for specific special things. I did enjoy Vesnali, I how you all did as well. I am loosely around for a few more hours this evening, but won't be paying more than occasionally attention to Subeta.
The way some people spell makes me wonder about their pronunciation. My CW shop, and my ping group
I have been testing every day, though admittedly only once per day, and don't always update my post. Does anyone even know if the weapon gets switched if no one has won in, say, 24 hours? If not, the weapon is obviously not what we have been testing and is instead one of the many pages others have also not updated.
I did talk about when to alert people that we're still here; many have finals, and if it's this early that usually means it's college students, so I estimated that most won't really be active until mod-May.

I think second or third week of May might be a good time, most people are done with finals by then and should be settled at home by then. It also gives them tome to get back into the swing of things.
We have a lot of things to mention too so I was planning a large announcement then.
