- pushing the tutorial would be great. We should send the link to all new group members when we add them. For now, there's no good way to know whether they actually read it. I think a test would be excessive and too much work for the admins.

One middle reminder ping (something like the item is breakable and is now this price - be aware if you are lending, because people are shut out from battling due to cost we will close out this battle in 10 minutes unless someone posts to tell us they are still fighting? And do we need to add - Please wait for an admin ping to submit your last battle?) is fine if someone answers it. If not, you're stuck. I almost went and sent a comment to one of the waiting battlers asking them to post just so I could ping the group to close out that weapon. What saved me, ironically, was that two different members posted to offer to send me the weapon.

No test, since we're booting people hopefully that will help. But yes sending that link to new members is a good idea.

Yes tell them to still wait for an admin ping. We should try to keep the ending of battles consistent.

As to the topics at hand here: 1/2 are done 3 I commented on already 4 - If uneven coverage is a problem, we can look at the assignment-by-user list and find people with few pages (raises hand I have only one) and ask if they're willing to take on another. Or, look at the pages with many users testing and ask someone if they wouldn't mind reassigning to a different page. Making it clear that saying no is okay if they don't have many weapons. I'm sure plenty of people have a ton of spare weapons though, and would have most, if not all, from another page. Especially with hoards being dissolved right now. (raises hand again I have a TON of weapons :/) Trading weapons in the group could also be a thing. For tier 3 pages, if things are uneven, maybe we should take a roll-call of sorts to find out how many people have tier 3 or higher pets? - Though that's probably most.... 5 I have no ideas, but it would be nice if that pattern meant something. Maybe we make it a policy that whatever admin(s) is on tests the page of the winning item along with their own pages for extra coverage.

Finally, I'm not sure I'm admin material... lol I mean aside from that list, I don't do much. Listing is my thing, decisions and reliability... not so much :/ Is there something else I should be doing? Is it just that I'm not on during the busy hours when people need help or am I not being helpful? sigh I find myself getting anxiety about coming on subeta because if I'm on I should be active in here but not knowing what exactly that looks like. heh :/

Do you want to make a trading thread? That's a great idea. I bought a weapon from another member discounted on advertising, something in the group would be great.

We can push a ping for tier 3s again. We'll be opening the masterlist for viewing, and making announcements with that. Alongside we'll ask for possible page assignment switch ups.

The list is AMAZING, we're in the growing stage which is why we have lots of decision making to do. Once we're all set up, it's just updating lists and adding new people in. And checking for deserters etc. So you're doing great! Stay on with the admins for a while, if you find you don't like it, it's okay to request to give up duties :)

about an announcement? I suppose so, maybe even in announcements. ^^ When Purge posted, a few of us acknowledged/talked about it a bit right then, but that was in the public forum. It would be nice. ^^ Something like, Many of you may have already heard, but we just wanted to point out, post the quote and thank them for all the work they've put in, appreciating how they are dealing with all the reorganization and not giving up, and sticking together to work out the kinks and get as many people as many wins as possible each time

Honestly sometimes the ping count for our group is overwhelming coming back on here LOL but that just means SO many people are working and finding winning weapons! I'm not sure if everyone will check every ping when they get back on, but the core of the group will definitely see it, whether it's through the ping or just through reading the gen chat.

I'm becoming not very good at the words putting together and the sentences coming out thing... must sleep.. for real this time.. I think I read all my pings XD

- I hear you. Sometimes getting through all the group pings seems to take FOREVER, and I hate to leave anyone unanswered. It can be hard to get in my own testing (not to mention questing, flowering ...).

- a couple of suggestions - add these to our posts/tutorials:

Breakable weapons that say "have broken for the rest of the battle" are NOT gone, weapons will say "have broken forever" are gone. So if your Nailed Board breaks, you can forfeit and go back in. Also, you can take two Nailed Boards in to battle and use one at a time (with a second weapon)

You can hit with TWO weapons as long as one of them is the current winner. ANY other weapon will work.

Also a few questions.

Twice now, I've seen weapon prices rise up to the millions in just a few minutes and the second time the weapon was Nailed Board, which only breaks for your current battle. How should we handle this? Group ping for forever breakables so lenders are aware? Stocking up on weapons somehow (maybe the admins with group funds if needed?) to have some to share but we never know who will be here to lend - or what to stock? Just ignore it (group members present have been quick to find/buy and lend)?

Sometimes (especially overnight) the weapon lasts a long time (Yay - it's working!) and posts just stop in the winning item forum. Everyone there is waiting on their last win. No one knows if the item is still working and we can't find out. We all wonder when to just submit but none of us wants to shut out someone who just noticed the ping. How do we handle this? After x time with no one new appearing, group ping saying that unless someone posts the submits will happen in y time? Any ideas for x and y? (10 minutes?, 15 minutes? - remember that long win times tie up an admin until they can announce a reset/retest).

The admin present needs to keep refreshing the winning item page to see whether there are new posts. Should we announce our presence and request users to ping us with each post?

Right that’s true! We probably have a lot of new battlers who don’t really know what everything in the battle UI means, so putting up that info for them will be good.

I wanted to do the fund buy and share but the sharing option for the group isn’t active, I don’t know why ;3; I have 1 of each past winning weapon, except the unadorned sword (I can go make a couple though) so I’m available to lend to anyone who needs it. The online admin could stock up a few items (using the group fund, that’s massive and really unused right now…) when a new item ping comes through and will post that they have a couple to lend?

Yeah the night weapons last because fewer people are on, and I’m assuming the people who might be spoiling it aren’t online. The night people are usually the similar group of people who are dedicated to sharing.

I guess during the middle ping you can say that you will wait 10 additional minutes after the last member post (after the middle ping)? We can mention that if there’s no admin online then members can end their battles 30 minutes after the first ping?

If you subscribe to the thread, then you’ll get a ping whenever there’s a new post as long as you delete the event when you view the newest post. That way you don’t have to constantly refresh all the time.
