oh I have no clue what that is, I can't even remember what I used yesterday. yeah true there's no correlation between any of the items as far as we can tell so it could be something that obscure. though said they used the goldbrand earlier in the day and it didn't work, but when they used it again it did. so to me it just sounds like a random thing that changes every so often :X

I tried with my best battle pet and also with 1 of my lowest stat pets and nothing. This has become more frustrating than fun. Seriously, I agree with others that they should post some kind of hints or clues. Otherwise this could literally go on for years. :( Also I don't see how it could just be random when there are hundreds (or more) weapons to use and it would take months if not years to go through most of them.

Yup :/ Plus, if it wasn't random, a simple, 'Of course it's not completely random guys, we're not that cruel.' Wouldn't even be a real clue, just let us know to keep searching for some reason in this madness... maybe they ARE that cruel D:

Really, they need to put the Forfeit Battle button on the battle page. :( And if it is completely random it would take years to try all the hundreds of weapons and just happen to hit on the right one.

I have only battled once, and I remember using Mythril Devonti Ear Armor and a Slots Spork with a Sheeta I had. It was battle quests though and then I gave up. So I just battled the troll with my pet Academic using the same items and it didn't work. But it's possible I had something else in there, like a shield...I wouldn't know what though.

To out wit a troll google says ignore 'em. Since we can't reflect the handful of physical he dishes out back at him I decided to move on to our next idea. I asked for a hint and didn't get one, lol

What if it has something to do with reaching a % of losses even before finding the weapon that will work? Does that even make sense? I can't see it but that's just me, I don't have a head for numbers. What I do see is a range in their phy attack in common but I haven't made any headway with the weapons I've tried.

probably 5 or 6 of those losses were before my wins btw. I was thinking maybe it had to do with number of losses but you'd think there would be more people by now with wins if that had anything to do with it :/ I don't know at all.

After reading all this I still think random chance to win upon entry into battle makes the most sense to me. Especially since Purge said 4 is really good. When I get the time I may try constantly entering battle with the same 2 item defense+attack set to test this :c

. I can't find anything that ties what we know together no matter how I look at my notes. Checking to see if there was any common ground with those who beat him via your win/loss stats was my last straw to grasp at. But those have nothing in common either.

Pleeease ping me if ya'll give that a shot, I would love to know what you figure out.

I will :) Just tossed only 2 items into armory. I'll be intermittently trying and if no luck then next week will be intensive if this isn't solved by then haha
