I am not going to argue over a word. This is a thread to invite new members to our minimod team and should be a positive thread where interested people can feel free to ask questions about the position they are applying for. You asked why anyone would work for free and I answered because I am one of those that has chosen to work for free. I like being a minimod. It is rewarding to me. The only reason I mentioned parents and interns is because those are unpaid jobs. I am not saying that being minimod is on the same level (because it is not), I am saying it is an unpaid position.

I appreciate the concern about all the work that I and the other mms are doing for free, but the list in the OP that provided is pretty exact. I haven't had to log onto Subeta just to mod or find a way to add extra Subeta time to my day. It's a pretty lax role, and my fellow mms are fun bunch to bum around Subeta with. <3

Minimods get gold accounts, so technically we're still considered paid as far as i know. It's unpaid, yes, but it has to still be accounted for because of the fact that gold accounts are bought with cash.

Omgggg this is so cool! I'd feel so badass if I was a mod! I'm sure Subeta wouldn't hire me though, I screw around too much D:

If we have submitted an application, will we receive an email if we were not chosen for the position?

If I remember correctly, they tell the ones that were chosen and then announce that the new ones have been chosen but I am not 100% sure since it has been five years since I became one xD
