I'm from the Netherlands and my English is not my native speak. Well, doesn't matter because I was a moderator long ago from an other site and the "criticism" (plain brawl) from incredibly narrow minded users who only could yell, instead of give their opinion on a normal way, has made I will never ever become a moderator again. I have absolutely no desire to waste my energy on people who are just angry and who are unwilling to reasonably for a normal conversation. The admin, I with my co-moderators gave their pursuits on. Truly it was disgusting we where forced to do this... The site was for years a wonderful place, but the site exists due to a few raised users not anymore. :(

Every beautiful site has got the risk to be killed by a few popular screamers. I wish, therefore, any future and current moderator a lot of strength.

Hmmm... I'm not sure it's exactly kosher to say you're "hiring" when the position is volunteer and unpaid.

Mostly our community is very well behaved, so hopefully the extra strength isn't required! I'm sorry you didn't have a nice experience moderating in your other site :(

Yes the community is here indeed better well behaved than on the most other sites. Subeta remains me in the time when the site I was mod, was still a great place too.

I believe if they're 2+ years old you can get them removed from your record with a ticket, but you will still see them on the dashboard.
