Its unfortunate but really its out of Subeta hands since it due to taxing and laws.

While you want a position that is strictly volunteering, its the factor of a person could progress into the paid position of the admin.

It would be difficult to keep track of volunteers that are out of the country vs. ones that are in the US.

This is one rule I can see why they aren't able to bend.

You could always help out by answering people's questions or letting people know if their breaking the rules if you happen to see it!

You may not be able to be a mini-mod but you can still help if you wish ^__^

The form requires "Full Legal Name." I'm trans, and due to state laws where I live, I... haven't been able to get my legal work sorted out, yet.

How would I handle this? Should I treat it like an offline job application and fill out my legal name and include my actual name in the "anything else" section at the bottom? (Man, talk about flashbacks to younger me's job applications, ha ha ha.)

Yes, actually! I was a mod on another website for a few years, and even though it was a volunteer position, it helped me get a job in the real world. It (the other forum moderator position, not Subeta's) has gotten another friend a management position, and another into a Creative Writing program at a university. It shows responsibility and customer service skills, after all. c:

And I'm not sure if there would be an issue with users you have blocked,or have you blocked.It doesn't say,so I'm not sure if it would disqualify someone from being a minimod or not.
