Yeah same. My reaction when I first saw the news post, even though I knew they've been talking about doing something like this for a while, was kind of like "ugh what no." But now after reading more into it and seeing staff responses, I think it will end up being okay. As long as we get to keep all of the items that we already have, that's all I care about.

Whilst not making collections a priority, every plushie/beanbag I get goes straight into the collection if I don't have it. Same for all wearables to the wardrobe, even if I don't wear them much.
There's always the possibility of crazy dressing up for events!

My stashed things are mainly TC items for not-yet-bought slots/ not-yet-adopted pets and food for achievements.

It's certainly nice to get a positive early on in the process.

Got to be honest, transferred my Cake! gallery over (did it this morning to minimise number of users on site) - very smooth, took a little while to update, but got the alerts when complete.
Happy with that.

And the donation corner deluge is supplying plushies, clothes and gallery stuff I didn't have. Bonus!
