Popping in super-quick as should be in bed, nearly 2am.
See, even if the event holds little interest there are still things you can do. Like pricing. XD
Dear Gods, that list reminds me, I actually have a dvd copy of Evil Brain from Outer Space. Starman for the win!
I get torn on the whole hoarding thing. First, I like to collect stuff. But I do want to sell things for sp. Then I found Quentin was asking for seasonal stuff and started vault-ing more event things. Then we get events/plots/games needing huge numbers of items and I have 0 luck with rs-ing.
Conflicted!
eventually more stuff will be added, like books (which I am against adding, how the hell do you bake books???)
you probably could have sold the tokens and bought that from the shop search with the profits you made, maybe a bit to spare. I got the book, which I needed!
i got the because i already had Spiritbound Trunk HEHEH
got the book because the trunk was a bit overpriced for something you can get for 4m in shops but i was really tempted at first
My token hoard is big enough that I forget to check stuff like that lol. I'm hoping I can snag another RS so I can get the medicinal wood. I need the plushie and book too. The shoes are on my WL but not nearly as much of a priority.
yeah it's not the first thing I think of checking either. usually the books I need in there are new though so it's worth buying them without checking. I'm kinda thinking if that wasn't the last old token shop book I needed, there's only a couple left.
I got the plushie, I need the book though. I already had the Spiritbound items from when it was originally released, I didn't realize the trunk was kind of cheap considering how many tokens it costs.
I guess they could have her sell her cookbooks or something to unlock more recipes? Maybe.
having her sell them makes more sense to me than baking them!
Same here, although I believe there are some edible books in Pete's quest shop. Not sure how that really works, but okay.
there's such thing as edible paper and edible inks and stuff. I'm sure an edible book can be made. but one made out of cake or baked goods...? I don't see that working :P
True.
I guess maybe once they add achievements to it, they could attach some books as prizes. Or you can get them after reaching a certain level. I'm sure there are plenty of ways they could involve books without having us bake book pies or something like that. :P
there are, but Amber seemed pretty adamant about baking books.
Are you sure she didn't mean baking books as in, books related to baking?
Haha, she even mentioned the edible books too. I would kind of like to see some more savory things too though, I know it's a bakery but there are plenty of savory baked goods! But I'm still excited to see whatever else they do come up with for the feature.
Anyway, it's getting late so good night ~
Bakeable books? O_o Well, why not. I mean they did make 70% of Louis' shop both wearable and edible this year :p
Not that i'm touching this baking thing while it's ridiculously expensive.
Thanks for the ping!
It's a bit ridiculous the difference in price in shops :o
Thanks for the ping!
Well, I guess people do bake cakes in the shape of books! And we can read the icing...
Though maybe it would make more sense to have a baked item 'turned in' and get a cookbook related to that recipe? This method could also work for baking wearables, maybe?
Bit like the free food drive over the Fireside period, but not left so much to chance!
Good point, I was surprised they had so many wearable and edible this year.
Yeah, baking books could maybe make sense I guess, especially in a world where magic exists. But I still think there are some other good ways they could let us get books from the baking feature.
