Good luck with the move! The baking feature is pretty fun, I'm enjoying all of the new food items as well. The 45k mark will take forever to get to though, I've been hoarding for at least a couple of years now and I'm only at 20k. D:
I think it looks nice so far! But I feel you with the constantly tweaking to get the little details just right. At least you still have some time to work on it, good luck getting it how you want!
The site has been better yesterday and now, thank goodness. I'm trying not to spend too much on the baking kits, but it's so much fun! I'm still collecting as many ingredients as I can from the donation corner though, especially some of the ones needed for higher levels before they become crazy expensive too as people level up.
Hooray for some stability!
I am keeping an eye on The Baking Guide for what looks best to get for future bakes.
However, I'm thinking I need to get pro-active with the Ikumo tree and remember to grab the fruit.
Why, thanks, Hustler:
I've seen some of the fruits in the donation corner too, if you want to try collecting a few there. It still doesn't hurt to visit the tree every day though, maybe some future recipes will call for other fruits.
Lol psychic turtle :P It's cute though!
As we have some fruits in the current recipes, I figure collecting other fruit is a sensible pre-plan. Usually I forget so this may help me!
Happy as I didn't have this plushie. And the Hustler sometimes just runs off with your cash. Tricky trickster!
Shopping and then work shift now...
A plushie you didn't have is better than him just taking your money, that's true! I don't usually buy things from the Hustler, I forget what sorts of exclusive items he even has.
I haven't really been committed to hoarding. I sell most of what I get without thinking about hoarding, so it's mostly holiday stuff and expensive stuff I'm actually hoarding. If I cleared out my whole wardrobe, it would be another 12.5k items, most of which would be unique. I may do that once I get close, but I'm a long ways off :) I may throw all of my questing/vending items in my hoard today. That should help a bit. Baby steps right? :P
I hardly sell anything that I get. Most of my funds really do just come from the sP I get from questing. I stuff all of the items I get into my hoard and then remove the doubles for fragging. The only things I sell now are extra mage amulets and boutique invitations, and sometimes the occasional expensive item I come across. But if it's cheap, I just frag it.
I really don't know how to get to 45k items faster, other than going through Subetalodge and making sure I have one of everything, but that seems like a pretty daunting task.
that's much too time-consuming :P I have a lot of duplicates especially since I hoarded all my of extra candy hearts. Once I get the duplicate ach then I can remove all those and go from there. I'll probably do the same with trinkets which will help a lot. If I actually focus on hoarding, I think I'll get there eventually (especially if I add in my wardrobe items). The hoarding ach isn't really my biggest priority, but it's something I'm slowly but surely working towards.
Same, I've just been slowly working towards it. It seems like very slowly now, I don't get nearly as many unique items anymore just from questing and such. Adding a bunch of new items that I get from the events helps, but only so much.
I already got the achievement for total items (including duplicates) using wizard tokens. That was a tedious task converting them all into 1-pointers, but oh well. Now I just need the unique items one. The only thing I would be worried about is if they decided to do away with the achievement before I got to it.
that's brilliant but yeah, very time-consuming. I would be so pissed if the staff decided to get rid of the hoarding achievement. The unique items one takes years to get!
I feel like if they haven't done it by now, then they probably won't. I just remember like a few years ago they were maybe thinking about it because they wanted to discourage hoarding or something. I'm not sure if their policies or views on that matter have changed or not, but I don't think I've seen any more mention of it since.
The staff is really inconsistent on hoarding. They can't say they don't want us to do it and simultaneously have events where hoarding was hugely rewarded.
I agree, although I think that could be part of trying to get rid of so many excess items and reducing the hoards by having those events. But at the same time, it will just encourage more people to start hoarding again in case there are any more events like that in the future. It's hard to balance and say "Okay no more hoarding after this one time."
People are going to hoard stuff no matter what, I don't see it as a huge problem unless some items become scarce because of it. But if someone wants to have 10,000 Dandybunnies, that doesn't bother me.
True, but the point is that it's an endless cycle :) I have no issue with people hoarding either. There's only a few circumstances under which I think hoarding could be problematic.
Yep, endless cycle is exactly it. They certainly haven't helped themselves in the past either, what with the Free Beer incident and then last year with the unlimited snowballs and no wait time. If you don't want us hoarding things, don't make it so easy to do so.
